@@lynnekenning7520you may be interested to know that when Nkosi was first sung in 1994, there was no interest from the almost exclusively white crowd in singing it. They waited until Die Stem then the crowd would erupt. Time has passed. Today I think the Nkosi is a unique anthem. A plea to God to help us in whatever travails we face. It has a beautiful rhythm, a prayer that sets it apart from other anthems. I love it , and surf YT for my favorites. I think Heinz Winckler and Charlize Berg did the best ever.
