I feel the sweet spot is the gear wrench 84T and 90T ratchets. Cost about $30-50 each, and 95% as good as any of the tool truck ratchets. Easy warranty process as well. You can usually get the normal ratchet, flex head, long flex head, and stubby version for less than the cost of a single SnapOn or Matco ratchet.
I use a mix, hf, craftsman, and a pair of snapon ratchets, I hate the snapon ratchets, always need to grab a flathead screwdriver to take the sockets off of them
ive done body work for 25 years and the only hand tools ill ever buy. i have broken every other brand of tool accept snap on and mac tools. and i have abused the ratchets and they just keep on going. buy that thing.
Snap on makes a good ratchet don’t get me wrong I own 8 but for the price you can’t beat a mac axis ratchet I’ve broken less and have never striped the teeth in Mac ratchet I’ve been there ratchets almost in a c and didn’t break and they are cheaper than snap they are not as smooth but damn they hard to break

Yup I love the 90t gear wrenches especially the smaller drive sizes

I've gotta a lot different branded tools, but for work I only use Snap-on ratchets! Must have for any professional

I'm not partial to one brand or another, but Snap-on does ratchets right.
Skip that rubber handle though... get chrome or hard plastic.
