Excellent, really like these videos, I'll make sure I let new players watch these before we play.
Speaking of new, we're playing a 6 player game in a month, and I'm thinking about playing with a preset map for 6 players to reduce the risk of anyone messing up for themselves. What is your take on this?

+Niclas Lundberg (plolock) I think if there are a significant number of beginners, then preset maps are fine. Otherwise, I'm personally against them. I don't think they're bad in any way, I just feel like making your own galaxy is such an interesting part of the game. And while it is possible to hobble yourself, there are plenty of ways to deal with a crappy hand of systems if you know what you're doing. Besides, I've found that when one player starts off with an overwhelming advantage, they usually become a target when players start teaming up.
That's just personal preference though. Run it by your group and see how they feel. If a lot of people would prefer a preset, then by all means use one. Maybe just randomize which space everyone starts in?

+RTFM Sounds like randomizing the starting space is an attractive way to go, as we still get to bulild the galaxy then! Thanks!
