@@bboybrown1 Until refs start cracking down on dramatics and time wasting, this crap will continue. It is what makes this game painful to watch. Diving when barely or not even touched, rolling around in pain and then two minutes later sprinting to make a play. Soccer in the US used to be great before we tried being like other countries. It is why the average fan would rather take a nap.
@@marktrovato6198 MLS Next Pro is implementing a new rule next season where if a player is suspected to have an injury and is on the ground for longer than 15 seconds, a medical crew will come onto the field to evaluate the player and assist him off the field. Not only that, but they will have to stay off the field for at least three minutes (exceptions to the three-minute requirement include potential head injury, cardiac issue, or other serious medical events). So players are going to have to start asking themselves, "Is me going down with an 'injury' worth my team being down a man for three minutes?" This should help with eliminating time wasting, hopefully MLS implements it for next season onward.
@@cx34 I’m loving that new rule and hope it goes to all leagues. I don’t care which team, but it’s usually the team that’s winning does the flopping. Ref discretion on how much extra time is annoying, winning or losing. MLS the bigger the team budget, the more extra time the losing team gets.

Anyone noticed how the guy who scored stole ruidiaz's goal celebration.
Tesho Akindele has been playing in MLS way before Ruidiaz and Tesho has been celebrating goals like that since his Rookie year in 2014 for FC Dallas. Ruidiaz started playing in MLS for Seattle Sounders in 2018 plus that goal celebration is not a Ruidiaz signature celebration. Arsenal legend Thierry Henry use to celebrate like that way back in the day.

He probably just meant first goal for Charlotte and misspoke in the heat of the moment. Having listened to him all season, he knows his stuff and the players very well.
Charlottes defense is so terrible is painful to watch
They are out of position most of the time and the midfield might be worse. Charlotte lacks skill on defense and in midfield, two areas that are critical to winning games. I expect mostly a brand new team next season. The game winning goal by Orlando is a miscue in the midfield and failure then to foul that caused the jailbreak and eventual goal. Does not help that refs should have awarded Charlotte 2 pks and fell asleep at wheel on both calls, one an obvious foul in box that they called just outside and the other an obvious hand ball in the box. I saw both clearly from where I was seated.
Our best defender Corujo is injured but even that said, I agree. Fuchs has class but is slow, Walkes is error prone, Sobocinski and Milanda are very green. Getting rid of Makoun seems questionable now, at least in terms of our playoff chances this year
@@jthomashair Why is Fuchs even on the field? He is a liability more than an asset. When ball is played anywhere near box, we have to hold our breath because it usually means that unless Kalina makes a monster save, it's in the back of the net. By rule, their 1st goal was offside.

Saving at 5.00 really is a technical error. The Gk should have used the other hand... The 1-1 goal another big mistake by the other gk: he even didn't jump. He tried to save hsving his foot on the field. I see several technical errors by mls gkeepers. Someone should improve their fundamentals.
