- The Arizona Trail (AZT) offered a steady string of stunning landscapes, at night the stars and Milky Way were amazing to observe, from the desert to high mountain ridges, the changes in vegetation from pinyon and juniper to manzanilla, cacti, and agave was spectacular.
2023 was a record year of snow in Arizona, some nights were very cold, it was a big challenge that made us physically and mentally exceed our limits.
A big thanks to all the trail angels for their generosity and kindness, they made me love this trail even more.
I met several exceptional hikers on this trail, including Bodhi, from whom I traveled most of the trail with, a living encyclopedia from which I learned a lot!
Depending on your pace, the AZT will require around six to eight weeks to complete, a total distance of around 800 miles.
I've started on March 6th to finish it on April 19th
The highlight of the AZT was the Grand Canyon, from the south to the north rim, it was overall one of the greatest experience I've done, an incredible hiking adventure.

Wow. Really enjoy the cinematography that you do. Your style of filming and putting it together to tell a story is incredible. Love the peaceful music that only enhances the beauty of the nature that this trail goes through. This is Ridgeline by the way... we met briefly a few times on the Colorado Trail. Very excited to watch the rest of this series on the AZT and to see what you put together for the CT. Keep up the great work man!

Thanks, yeah I’m doing good. Bit of an adjustment being off trail that’s for sure. I finished on September 8. Well, I’m honestly thinking about doing the AZT next Fall going southbound

@@lizzypicardi It takes a few days and after that you couldn't do without it, a real addiction, I feel like a bird using it! I have the dji mini 3 pro, easy for beginners and the quality is not bad at all, which drone you have?
@@Ratatrail Idk - all I know is it it's good for mountain biking I can follow me and be programmed. I think it's pretty fucking cool. I just a little overwhelmed by technology and having more camera said it from but I know it will take my channel to the next level.
