Hey thanks! Cant confirm; but if you remove the trunk lining you should see whether the chassis brace is there and can compare to mine. I would think the chassis bones should be same but never confirmed.
I would say it is def noticeably stiffer and provides more feedback. Traction also seems improved so dont see any drawbacks (slight noise increase perhaps) with a small improvement in all aspects of driving. As for responsiveness I would say N/A. Its in the rear and the biggest factor for me in response is the front height on adjustable coils. 30mm+/- makes a world of difference in responsiveness, angle of attack, etc. So in short no notice of improved responsiveness. Hope this helps!
@@project9s888 Enough to do it again? I like how non obstrusive, light and good looking this is. Just don't know if I'd justify it. I do believe the front strut brace I installed made a good big difference, how would this compare in your opinion?
@@andrxito for the price - yes. $400 on an M is a fairly cheap mod right? That being said I would do a few other things before this as far as performance to be gained. Coilovers, bushings, trailing arms, traction bars etc. For me it covered a need - it looks great I have since done rear seat delete and it looks fantastic while adding a bit of stiffness to rear. If you are looking for a good visual/performance mod at a lower M pricepoint this is good. If you want bang for your buck performance Id spend it elsewhere as mentioned above. Keep in mind I already have KW V3s and H&R front bar so my setup is not stock at all. The coilovers and especially the front height made the biggest impact/noticeable difference for me. Hope that helps :)
@@project9s888 It does help thanks a bunch :) I have KW V3 DDC, front strut bar, lower body brace and lighter wheels + a new set of brake discs and pads. Slippery slope :D
Hey man was just wondering if this would fit in a 2018 M240i, also super informative and great video, keep up the good work!

Is there any notable difference in responsiveness of steering after installing brace?
