Hello Marta, I am glad we are slowly moving into using a wish list again. Usually I save a picture of the desired item then mark with a date. I always have the mindset ‘once you bring in something new, will you continue using your favourite/ older things? probably not. Once you get past the initial excitement, it is simply a product. I watched a documentary on how luxury brands create fomo, it is a great wake up call. Speaking of trends, do you miss the holy grail videos people used to make? Deinfuencing for me is not buying brands just to support. It could accumulate to a lot in hindsight.
@@germainelo3369 I totally agree with the „once you get past the initial excitement, it is simply a product“! Can’t count how many times that has been the case for me. In a way I do miss holy grail videos because I loved hearing about people’s ride or die products. However that tag also started to become more ‚toxic’ with time with people changing their holy grails extremely often. And I understand that with trying products sometimes we encounter something better but… it didn’t feel genuine to me at some point :( However I do have to say that ever since I started making these videos I realized there goes so much on behind the camera people don’t know about (e.g. trying & using makeup items). So sometimes it may feel like someone is showing you a new product every week, but they have been using it off camera consistently for some time. It’s a difficult situation 🥺
