  • 🇹🇭 ‘Trekking Through Northern Thailand: A Traveller’s Story’, is the latest adventure brought to you by the TourRadar team that follows the journey of Phoebe and Matt from Little Grey Box. Watch along as Phoebe and Matt document their experience on what it’s really like to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trekking tour with G Adventures. If you’re wondering what it’s like to grab your trekking poles while travelling to remote villages, this is your chance to find out everything you need to know.
Are you wondering what you might eat during a trek in Northern Thailand? From sugar cane to sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves or potato soup, you might be surprised that your next great culinary experiences lie in the hilltops of Northern Thailand. Adding to the authenticity of the adventure, the best (and only) way to share a meal is in the traditional way of sitting cross-legged on the floor.
You might spend days hiking, but in between stepping one foot in front of another, there is still time for dressing up in traditional garments, learning about local crafts from skilled artisans, exploring an ancient cave or sitting down for a freshly made fruit shake from a local vendor.
By the end of this journey, as shown by Phoebe and Matt, we’re sure you’ll be left feeling inspired and ready to book your next trekking tour. It might not be an easy journey, but it’s most certainly a rewarding one.
Thanks to our friends from G Adventures ( / gadventures ) and LittleGreyBox (th-cam.com/channels/MhD.html...!

Hey.. Thank you for the video! It's really fantastic! A couple questions for you: You made a comment near the end that it's the smokey season. I'm assuming you were referring to 'burning season' in Chiang Mai (which is actually coming up again). I hope to be visiting, and it turns out that I'll be visiting in the beginning of March which will, in fact, be burning season. Is that when you guys were there (like nearMarch of last year?) Did it really impede your time in chain Chiang Mai?... Or was it just fine? Lastly, which outfitter / tour group did you use to do this trek? There are so, so many, and I've been researching some, but I just can't decide. I really liked, from what I saw on this video, the range of experiences, activities and viewpoints that I saw, (and also, specifically, which tour was it?... it seemed like a 3 day, 2 night tour, yes?) Thank you so much again!
