I traded away all the prospects and players who didn't produce well enough. I had simmed like 15 years so the year was like 2033 or 2034. When i had gotten all the 1st round picks I still had an nhl roster full of 84-93 rated players with great potential and my ahl team was stacked with elite and top 6 potential players too. It was just before NHL 20 came out so unfortunately I didn't get the chance to play with this team. Sorry for making this comment so long, just felt like I needed to share this story so I could grow my ego and flex on fellow Franchise mode grinders
The Bill Masterton Actually goes to someone who persevered and still played i the real world, ie Brian Boyle Had Cancer, Lehner didn't win it but his son had cancer he got nominated
Trading for every first round pick would certainly help keep things accurate to real life once the 2020 draft actually happens. At least in regards to the first round
