    Always like to see the supermarket on travel videos.
    The big tubers were yuca. It's a staple in Panama. Fried yuca is delicious!

    I love Bocas del Toro, it reminds me like a tropical P-Town.

    That’s Albrook Air Force Base. That’s what it was when I was stationed there.

    I do most of food shopping at local san juan del sur market. central market. , I go to the gringo super to get stuff the market doesn't have. which isn't much. the market has lots of stuff pali and colonie doesn't. especially breakfast. great breakfast $3.

      I was really surprised at the great selection of food items in Bocas in the grocery's. I'm trying to remember the name of the shop that makes sandwiches...they were AMAZING!

    Bocas del Toro is the most beautiful experience in Panama as well as San Blas ( the only province I haven’t been to in the whole small country) everything is water and fish and fun. You all must’ve arrived to Almirante ( that’s where airplanes usually land. I hope you enjoyed the trip

    • @hannaogle9385
      @hannaogle9385  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that is the airport we landed on...only one here in Bocas. What's cool is that you just walk from the airport....through town...to the water taxi station to go to where ever you need to in Bocas Del Toro, if you are not staying right there on that island.

      San Blas is not a province, is an indigenous region that belongs to the “Comarca” Guna Yala ❤

      Yes, in fact was just working on the next one last night. My real work has been all consuming since we got back from Panama or they would have been up sooner. They are coming! Thanks for commenting, I’ll be sure to add some commentary for those that might be traveling to that part of the world so you can be better prepared!

    Looked at prices and it’s expensive to fly from Albrook to Bocas. Almost as much as I pay from Atlanta to Panama City.

    • @hannaogle9385
      @hannaogle9385  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think we paid $200 something each person from Panama City to Bocas on Air Panama.

    did you plan this trip yourself? if so what site(s) did you use to book local flights etc?

    • @hannaogle9385
      @hannaogle9385  ปีที่แล้ว

      We did it ourselves with help from our relatives that live in Bocas on Bastimentos. They have the air bnb so we didn’t have to worry about where to stay. We flew American Airlines from San Antonio to Panama City. Stayed overnight in Panama City at the Hilton, which was super nice and totally plush. Then the next morning room an Air Panama flight from Panama City to Bocas. We had to call to book that flight. Then in Bocas you have to walk or get a taxi to the water taxi place and then water taxi over to their Airbnb! It was an adventure and we loved it.

      Well….we just had a great time and now I’ve been having a lot of fun learning how to craft videos. It has not been easy to learn! But rewarding to share our experiences with others. Stay tuned….we just booked a really exciting trip in June 2023 and it will be the topic for our new series starting shortly thereafter…..how does a week on a sailboat visiting the grenadines sound?? We can’t wait! We will share it all with you!
