With regards to Sita Matha having sent to forest during pregnancy….the background is ….Sri Rama being Kshatriya, just returned finishing 14 years of forest dwelling and assumed King’s role to establish Dharma. The Dharmic includes performing various Vedic rituals such as Ashwamedha Yagya etc. moreover the episode of subjects talking ill of their Rani was considered very seriously in those days. A Kshatriya in the olden days used to relinquish everything including his life and attachments for the sake of protecting Dharma. Since his only reason to be born is establishing Dharma, he cannot abandon that in the middle whatever be his sorrow or personal loss. Sita Matha could easily protect herself as she has managed to live in forest for 13.full years and also during the stay at Lanka, many a time both to Ravana as well as even Hanuman she says, I with just the blade of gross could annihilate Ravana as being Kshatriyani has undergone training with Astra and sastra. Hence Rama is very much aware of her capacity to defend. Also She being a Kshatriyani, herself know she could no longer stay in the throne, that is why she don’t have qualms about banishment Current times most of the political clan as well as Prajas as well as judiciary do not follow Dharma…their duties of following that high moral values. For those people it will be difficult to digest
What were those exaggerations in Ramayanam? Pushpak? Hanuman flying? Ram Setu? Why dont we consider these as possibilities? Remnants of Ram setu are still there at the place it is supposed to be. Dushyanji should have explained these instead of conceding them as exaggerations. Exaggerations wont explain certain crucial events in Ramayanam, like Hanumanji flying to Himalayas.
