Fabulous video, as always, Eunice! If any of you are traveling and want to wash dishes on the road but don’t have room for dish soap in your liquids/checked bag, try this. Before your trip buy one of those scrubby sponges. Get it wet, put dish soap on it , and lather it up then let it dry without rinsing it. When it’s dry just cut it into useable pieces and put it in a zip bag. When you need to wash a dish just wet one of the pieces. You will have a scrubby sponge with dish soap ready to go. When you’re done you can rinse and reuse it or toss it.
That’s a great idea! Thank you for sharing with us💕😊
Brilliant idea! Thx for sharing 😃
Thank You. ready for road travel.
Hey there, I have been following your channel for a while now. I am a dentist and I think you have a common condition called angular chelitis on the corner of your mouth. Go pick up some 1% clotrimazole cream (sold sometimes as athletes foot medication). Put it on the area several times a day and really goop it on before bed. It should clear up in a few days. Many people try to put Vaseline or antibiotic ointment on it. This will not work as it is a fungal condition. I get it every winter. Throw away any lip balm that you may have or you will reinfect yourself. You can instead cut off the top couple of millimeters of the lipstick or lip balm that might be affected. Use a q tip to apply any products until your skin clears up. Sorry to be in your business but I see this all the time and so many try to treat it incorrectly. Hope this helps! Love all your videos. You are the best!
Thanks so much! It was a cold sore. I occasionally get these when I do a lot of flying. I’m not exactly sure why that happens but I always related to the amount of radiation exposed to an apply because I also get them whenever I have x-rays.🤷♀️
You are a true renaissance woman! I would love a video of your garden and how you dry your garden veg and berries. So smart and practical. Thanks again!!
Thank you! I’ll be sure to get some video done of some of those things!😊💕
I’m like you 🌱. I take fresh herbs and other veges from the garden and dry them in a dehydrator and store in air tight container. Use in my Ramen at work. In winter I take a bag of mixed frozen veges and dry in my dehydrator and drop in boiled bouillon in a cup- makes great vegetable soup.
@@mariebrown9415 yes! Love it!😍
Eunice, you never cease to amaze me with you gadgets when you travel! I just love that electric pot! So versatile! Thank you for sharing. ❤
Thank you so much and I’ll tell you that cookpot was so handy that I might just have to bring it on all my travel adventures even if I’m doing carry-on only! I’ll give up clothes to be able to have good food🤣😂
Always enjoy your videos
Thumbs up
Thank you so much and truly appreciate your feedback😊
Wow another amazing video that speaks to my soul! That pot is amazing!!! I wish you were my neighbor!!!!😂❤
Thank you! If we were neighbors we could share so if these travel items😊
Bringing up how multiple generations can use some of these items is a great tip. If traveling with the grandchildren, elders, people with allergies, or dietary restrictions can use these tips to make delicious meals.
Thank you! Plus I save a lot of money! 😊
I toasted bread on my tiny George Foreman grill in the hotel earlier this week to make BLT sandwiches for my kids and myself. I didn’t put anything on it, just dry toasted it on both sides. It came out great. I also took an 8” Dash griddle and made quesadillas, which was a great supper after staying in the pool late. I remember about 5 or 6 years ago when I first started bringing little appliances with me to cook in my hotels, I couldn’t find anything about it on TH-cam, but now I really enjoy seeing how you cook in your accommodations as well. Hotels usually only have a fridge and possibly a microwave, if you’re even lucky enough to have either of those. That’s just not adequate. I love eating out, but not every meal. I was so tired after swimming with the kids and the last thing I wanted to do was get dressed and go out to a restaurant. I was so grateful to have planned ahead and have a quick easy meal and a way to cook it. Plus, we ate in our jammies and then watched a little movie and went to bed happy and rested up for an adventurous day out the next day. Thanks for sharing! I love how you do this. I also have an electric pan similar to yours but it’s a simple model that only regular cooks and boils, no popcorn maker. That was really cool.
I haven’t bought my Dash cooker yet. I need to find more recipes for it. I agree…sometimes you just want to eat in Jammie’s and watch a movie! Nothing wrong with that😊 eating out costs so much money these days and it’s not healthy! I’ll cook in my room anytime! 💕😊
I like my bacon crunchy too. I always bake my bacon. So you could use that toaster oven to bake the bacon while you fry your eggs. Bake at 400f for 15-20 minutes.
Yes! I sometimes cook it in the oven! I wanted to try this pan to see what I could cook in it! 😊
these tips are excellent. especially that cooking pot
Thank you! It’s a travel favorite!😍
Eunice you are amzing i live your content you give great advice and information
Thank you! I’m so happy you are enjoying my videos 💕😊
New sub here so I've bingeing your videos- love them all, great tips. Did you film your daughter in laws process for her sourdough bread? That bread was epic! Highly suggest to share that! Thank you!
Thank you so much and welcome to my channel! I am so happy you are enjoying my videos and I truly appreciate your feedback. I did Phil my daughter-in-law doing a little bit of sourdough but not the entire process. She is a shy, so I probably will not be putting that video on the Public channel, but probably on my Patreon channel.😊
Love your videos👍👍
Thank you! I love making them for you! 😊
Thank you! Another great video. I will be revisiting this one and the first one to make sure I've gotten all the information.
Thank you! 😊
amazing ideas, as always!!
Thank you!💕
If I'm stranded on a desert island I will be fine if I have my popcorn and a cold Coke!
Yes! Popcorn is sometimes my dinner!🤣😂💗💕
@@TheoryofSimple Mine too 👍
Everything looks delicious. You always give us the best tips and ideas. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend. ❤
Thank you! I Love sharing with you!😊
All of those meals looked so yummy. I like my bacon crisp as well and I make toast the same way you do in a fry pan with butter. That bread your daughter in law made looked delicious and and marmalade is one of my favourite things to put on toast. Your steak was cooked perfectly and what a beautiful presentation topping it on the salad.
Thank you so much! It was so nice to be able to cook on the road and get some healthy delicious meals! 💕😊
Enjoyed the video!
Thank you!😊
Thank you for sharing! ❤❤
You’re very very welcome and thank you so much for your feedback😊💕
this is how you learn😊 learning by doing. love it❤️😍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏻👍🏻😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! Always fun to learn! 😊💕
Nice setup. I see you like your bacon the same way I do - not quite burnt, but almost. I also save all my bacon grease and other meat drippings for cooking. Since I never check bags, I don't travel with such an elaborate setup, but I've just finished putting together a full kitchen in a Stanley metal lunch box for road trips. For air travel, I make do with my Sea to Summit X-set lidded pot and dish/cup set, an immersion coil, and a stasher bag. One important thing I learned from you is to carry a P38 can opener with me everywhere. And a folding cutlery set - made of wheat straw, so it's not going to set of any TSA alarms. Also, a ceramic knife cannot be picked up by the security Xray machine. I'm glad of the suggestion for the sparkling water maker - thank you! I don't drink pop/soda, just wine and sparkling water (the latter I often mix with homemade shrubs), and those cans get heavy to lug home! Steak salad looks great! - Itadakimasu!
Thank you! Thanks for sharing your travel kitchen! Happy travels!
Nice video Eunice. I would love to know your Ranch seasoning recipe. I was thinking that bacon grease would be tasty in place of the oil you used to cook your popcorn. Safe travels.
Thank you! The ranch recipe is in the video description! 😊
Eunice! I just love your videos❣️❣️❣️❣️Kolleen
Thank you, Kolleen!💕😊
Always nice to see you. Happy travels.😊
Thank you! 😃
Thank you for all of your videos they are so informative and entertaining, I have learnt so very much. Love the pot!
Thank you so much and I truly appreciate your feedback! I love making these videos for you!
great video, TY❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Love these tips!
Thank you!😊
Thank you Eunice! OMG, I LOVE your content so much and only wish I knew you when I was homeless for a bit living in a hotel after my brother passed. I'm okay now and so want to set up travel plans. Dumb Q: Where can I find the Kitchen Utensil bag? I have some of the items in my cart now. Sending lots of love for safe travels always, Cynthia ❤✈🧳🎟💌🙏
Thank you so much! The bag is just an old plastic bag that had some sort of toiletries that came in at one point. You could probably use any clear plastic bag or any bag you wanted to carry the utensils.😊
Kuzu is also very healing
Yes! Good for thickening broth and drinking them after you’ve been sick! 💕😊
Home made ranch seasonin….. YES PLEASE!!!
Recipe is in the description!😊
Have you done a video on how you dehydrate your fruit?
I haven’t done a video on that yet, but it’s so easy. I just take the fruit off of my trees and wash it and then set them on a clean white cloth to get the extra moisture off and then put them in a food dehydrator.😊 I store them in my bags with an oxygen absorber💕
I bring baby food pouches!!!! I'm on a low protein diet (kidney)...so I will switch to the "bites" versus my usual powdered pharmaceutical grade amino acids. Also, plan to bring Butter Buds! (Butter essence, NO FAT, mix with water!)..I use BB's on popcorn!!
Nice! Thank you for sharing the BBs I’ll have to try it! 😊
This is great! I have a similar setup I take when we camp in our couples RV. I’m curious, and I apologize if you’ve already covered this and I missed it somehow, but when you travel by air, how do you pack it? How big and what does it weigh? It doesn’t seem like it would be a lot. I would love to take some things to do this when we travel just to help cut down on eating out so much.
Thank you so much. I’m actually traveling right now so I don’t have it with me, but if you go to the link in the video description, it will give you all the details on the pot. With regard to packing it, I just put it in my suitcase and make sure that I have some thing like it towel or clothing around it to keep it a little protected.😊 I actually did a video a few months ago and in the beginning, it did show how I packed it in the suitcase so you may want to go back and try to find that one. It is a video about doing some cooking while I was in Dallas in April.
@@TheoryofSimple thank you ma’am! I will go check it out now. Enjoy your trip!
@@ToriE1073 thank you!
Always love your videos!! Please do share your recipe for ranch dressing. My mouth is watering for the next time I make popcorn
thank you so much! The recipe is shared in the video description!💕
@@TheoryofSimple ohhhhh I looked at the products but didn’t look far enough I guess LOL. Have an awesome weekend and travel safe.
@@AJK278 yay! Happy you found it! Have a great weekend!
Great ideas for travelling always wanted to do this saw a video making sushi🙂 where did you travel to? Too bad it rained a lot
Thank you so much ! I was in Washington DC
I appreciate your flexibility and ingenuity 😄
Thanks 😊
You can use a microwave to cook bacon
True. I wanted to test out this pot to see what it could do😊
My buttermilk powder says it needs to be refrigerated. Would that be true for the homemade ranch seasoning?
If your butter powder says it needs to be refrigerated and you’re using it in the mix, then I would say yes it needs to be refrigerated. The one I’m linking to in the video description does not need to be refrigerated.
Can I have info on the pot/popcorn maker?
You can find a link for that pot with the popcorn maker in the video description😊
Thx, I overlooked it.
@@lizfinn5954 no worries! Happy you found it😊
If flying, do you put your Tabasco in your liquid bag?
If I’m flying anywhere except the United States, it will go to liquid bag. Because I have TSA pre-check I do not need to keep it in a liquid bag or show it or take it out when I go through TSA security.
Where's the electric cooking pot link?
It’s in the video description at 10:43😊
Home made ranch seasonin….. YES PLEASE!!!
