Thanks so much for this, I always thought that you had to select the same device as the interface you were using. I use Native Instruments Komplete 1 and I was getting clicking and popping even with really low CPU usage, but switching the device to FL Studio ASIO has completely fixed this!
Duuude, I got the same thing with Komplete 2!! Lags were getting worse and worse as I increased the buffer size. I even got paranoid thinking that my audio interface is defective or something
The buffer delay only affects the output of the recording not the input So you you won't have any delays in your vocals and instruments unless you are listening to ur vocal while recording

@@wumagichighfocus5371 Your latency problem is due to driver issues so just change to Fl Studio Asio driver and that will cure it. The primary sound driver is good for playing music and when it comes to keyboards it struggles so you get latency.

I've tried 512, and 128 smp for my buffer settings but it sounds like I'm speaking in front of a fan. I tried the buffer settings you have and 1080 smp as well but it has a huge delay. I use a Apollo Twin x and run a m1 Mac. Any recommendations on getting a clean signal?
Tripple buffer should be on and for that you should have a good CPU minimum intel 12th gen, if I turn tripple buffer on my tracks get a glitch or delay in between so please don’t turn it off or you will regret I promise
That did not help at all I'm using exactly the same audio interface as that and exactly the same settings and I still get no audio. Why this is such a ball ache I dont know.

FL Studio uses inputs and outputs so if you don't choose your mic as an input your not going to hear it.
