I love the humour in your videos but the reconstruction has to be the funniest yet 😂 I only just discovered Possil Marsh two days ago despite living in Glasgow for almost a decade. Shame I know! The Lambhill community gardens are also fantastic.
That large stone with the inscription is a terminal moraine. It’s came from far away in an ice sheet which left it as it melted. There’s a few outside Kelvingrove Museum and St George’s Road next to the M8.
Not only you have some space industry (Spire being not the only one), but maybe soon you'll also have a launch pad, north in the Highlands, in Sutherland county ! It would be fun to place a small piece of this meteorite on top of the first rocket to be launched from Scotland :)
Hi have you ever visited north woodside flint mill near the kelvin stevenson memorial church on Belmont street its now derelict but still lots of interesting brick work remains cheers Raymond
I was on community service one Saturday morning cleaning up a bit of unused ground next to a community centre in Ruchill, me and 2 other guys were hacking away at an old root ball in the earth to remove it when it finally let go we manhandled it into a wheel barrow and into the tipper truck. As we did so a glossy black what I thought was a weird stone appeared in amongst the roots, I dug it out and it was heavy almost a foot across and 7 or 8 inches deep when it hit the deck I swung the pick I had clean over my head and down onto the centre of it and bar a spark the blow was deflected clean with no visible damage to the object at all! It defiantly contained iron imho. I’ve always wondered if I threw away 5 million quid that day!it may well just of been part of the 1804 Possil event. Or maybe someone will put me straight lol….
Cleverly compiled video and, as usual, astonishing information. ❤️
That reconstruction was uncanny. Like I was there masel!
Great facts though. Well done again!
Hi
I must say I give you a noble for banter absolutely best!!!
I was born and raised and grew up in Possilpark and I had no idea about this. Absolutely love this series mate!
This story is not only astonishing it is truly out of this world……and it will never date !
Refreshingly good!
I'm astonished, once again.
And I got a Star trek reference in again for you.

Superb video. I watched the 'old' War Of The World video a couple of days ago too. Cheers.
Really interesting. Thanks. 👍

Thanks for another small piece of education, it doesn't matter how old you get every day's a school day.

Cool!
I was reading up on the Possil meteorite only a couple of weeks ago.

You have no idea how much you sound like Billy Connolly...
I will take that as a huge compliment, cheers.
