Great reaction! The group is still together. Ko Woorim is currently serving his obligation in the military as every Korean male must do. He'll be done in 2025 and Forestella will be in full swing again. The other 3 have already served. Woorim is the youngest of the group. To be more precise, Kang Hyung-ho has a rocky voice even though he is in charge of the soprano range. Because he's actually a rock singer. He is the frontman of the band pitta and a member of Forestella. He writes, arranges, and produces music for the rock band pitta.
Forestella always delivers. My favorite version of this song by Forestella is the video that has Mystique Live in the title. They did a great job and they know exactly who should sing which part. And we shouldn't forget that Queen never sang the middle part live. They are currently signed to Beat Interactive. At the moment they are performing as a trio, but only because their bass singer (Ko Woorim) has to do his mandatory military service in Korea. He will join them again in May 2025 if I'm not mistaken. He's the youngest member and the other guys have already done their military service. I think you should react to "Nella Fantasia" (Open Concert) where Kang Hyungho's high voice shines. 🙂

Their whole marketing strategy was turned on its head when they joined Beat Interactive in late 2021 and they also gained a bit more autonomy over the music they wanted to perform. There is a notable step up in stage presentations etc Please react to them as a trio from Jan 2024 LIVE performance of Queen’s THE SHOW MUST GO ON……… they also on that same episode performed Hijo de La Luna ..a rearrangement for 3 voices this time…I am curious as to your thoughts . There are no bad Forestella performances…not an exaggeration as you will discover…just sometimes even better ones! There are dozens and dozens of songs and a myriad performances, most are not on their official Forestella channel which has their original m.v’s and album and single releases and many behind the scenes videos, some on TV competitions, tv shows, award shows like MAMA & MME , talk/variety shows, fan cams of concerts and festivals and other live stage performances like Game Con, Drone Festivals, 100 piano festival, AGMs, Sport events, Dubai Expos, Jamboree show, etc
Isn't it great. I'm a fan of Queen from BEFORE they were famous. Freddie would love this. They are almost the same quality every time. But for me, I like their vocals on "Mystique" version. (He was a Research Chemist and singer in a Rock band, with NO formal vocal training before the show creating Forestella. Then the Tenor ("Mama just killed a man" lyric") is Cho Mingyu, and finally is the Baritone Bae Doo-Hoon. Try their Shape of you, Bad Romance, Lazenca Save us, Time in a Bottle, and work up to their masterpiece "Je suis Malade". 😭 Ko WooRim is doing his Military Service, but the other 3 did "The Show must go on". (Your mind fills in the gaps where Ko WooRim's amazing bass voice would sing).

Haha their English is way better than my Korean! (Am trying to learn though) Forestella also sing in Spanish, French, Italian, Russian & Zulu (because they aren’t already talented enough)!! Fun fact - in Korean their surname comes first so Forestella’s given names are Woorim (bass & my fav), Hyung-ho (counter tenor/rock), Mingyu (classical tenor) & Doohoon (musical actor)
