  • OK, basically same as last vid but this time I've corrected the errors i have been shown to have made by a helpful Discord user (Thanks Equip).
    So it seems the FZ cannot write EM4305 tags but CAN write the T5577 which seems to be able to "emulate" quite a few tags.

    Hello, thank you for this great video. Especially very detailed this qi facilitates for people who are not computer expert. Thank you also for the way you speak quite slowly, for people who put the translation in the subtitle who do not speak English. Good luck, the French-speaking community of Belgium is waiting for your next videos.

    Have you or anyone determined with certainty what the first two sets of digits are?
    FC is facility code, in case anyone is new to this.

    Hey! Awesome video. Question: What do you know about readers trying to write the tag they read as a security measure? And adding to that: What do you know about writing and setting passwords to a T5577? Asking because I found your video searching for those answers, but my flipper wasn't able to write T5577 passwords until I flash it another firmware. I'am afraid to do it since I only have 1 T5577 chip and I want to be able to re-write it again :(

    • @Cornz38

      T5577 are emulators. So you can rewrite it thousands of times. ALso, they are very simple to modify using a text editor. As for security tags, my understanding is they send out a pulse when energized and the gate picks up that pulse. If you want to defeat them, wrap them in foil or put the item in a foil lined bag.

    This was great. I own a flipper. I use it for a bit of shits and giggles all for fun rather than sabotage. Can you give us a full breakdown on how to use most features on the RM firmware and its capabilities. I also know that some features do not work. Im not sure if its a frequency issue or buggy or just does not work at all. Cheers mate!

    Nice to see a good, straightforward demonstration of the Flipper Zero, with the usual hacker-wannabe, attention-grabbing, visual and sound effects.

    I understand the Flipper Zero can't write to the read only EMicro-4100 tag.. but what is the difference between the read/write EM-4305 fobs and the T5577 that the flipper can only write to the latter? Does it have to do with application.. i.e. it can read 125khz RF-ID tags.. ASK and PSK.. but perhaps there's other protocols/frequencies? Does it have to do with the "FC" (facility/format/frequency-code?)?
    Can the Flipper be used to emulate the card itself, i.e. no T5577 card needed to clone? And can the RFID card be erased after programming?

      @Cornz38  ปีที่แล้ว

      " but what is the difference between the read/write EM-4305 fobs and the T5577" As I understand it, the T5577 is capable of emulating many different tags.

      Yes, my FZ emulates an EM4100. To erase it you simply write 0 to all bytes.

    Did you ever find T5577 tags? I keep seeing dual product codes using T5577 / EM405 for the same product , though You are saying they are different

    • @Cornz38

      t5577 are a chip that can emulate many others if my memory serves me right.

    I was frustrating myself so much with this. I needed a new alarm tag for work, so I read it, it's a EM4100. So I went onto amazon and bought them, got 50 of them.
    Was trying to write them, can read them all, but can't write. So, if I buy a card/chip with the T5577 Tags, I should be able to read the EM4100 Tag (which I have and saved, and it works when I emulate it), then write that over to the T5577?

    • @Cornz38
      @Cornz38  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you have the exact same issue as me. The FZ cannot write em4100 but the T5577 will emulate it.
