Amazing. McDonald's insists that all eggs must be hard-cooked. In Japan, food safety is so strong, even on egg-farms, that eggs are safe enough to eat raw. Eggs there are almost always eaten raw or soft-cooked.
European countries don't wash eggs and we have lots of recipes with raw eggs like tiramisu, salad dressings, mayonnaise, gateau fillings, ice cream etc. Just treat your chickens right and the risk is very low. It's the same with meat. I would probably never eat it raw in the US but I love German raw pork (Mett) or Italian raw beef (Carpaccio) or Japanese raw fish (Sashimi).
Good luck if McDonalds managers are doing this I’ve been there 5 years in the evenings and not one person has done this procedure
