    I love this video, my current career path is so similar to the start of your story. I currently work as a regular admin, but i constantly search for projects to take initiative of and use the opportunity to promote my analytical skills while building my skillset and im up for a promotion to an analyst soon. Im aiming to one day reach director level, or even better, a self employed consultant. Thank you for sharing your experiences! It really helps me feel confident in the direction im heading.

    Thank you for sharing your careers experience. I have taken Statistics around 7 years ago and I got a B (such helpful and detailed teaching from the lecturer I had). I am a BSc Accounting and Finance student so not much Statistics classes (just one class two years ago I had).
    How can I prepare? I have noticed you mentioned SAS. I have never heard of this before. Would you suggest learning SAS?
    I want to become a Data Engineer but Data Analyst may be another career I may want to go into too.

    Great video and it's good to hear about your path in data analytics. Have you ever used or wanted to use Microsoft's Power BI?

    • @TheCareerForce
      @TheCareerForce  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've used PowerBI. It wasn't something that's been used in any of the jobs I've held so it's been more of a side interest. It does seem like once you use any of the mainstream visualization software, it's fairly easy to translate those skills to other programs.

    As a man, I feel like i have been discriminated against in the workforce when women are hiring managers. can you please provide advice on how to overcome sexism against men in the workplace? It seems all hiring representatives I deal with these days are women for the most part. The girl boss movement has really shown the girl boss's true colors in my opinion.
