- Pt. Raghunandan Panshikar is a senior disciple of GaanSaraswati Smt. Kishori Amonkar, the renowned vocalist of Jaipur-Attrauli Gharana. He has performed at many well-known music conferences throughout the country, like Sawai Gandharva, Pune and Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal, as well as outside India. He also has numerous cassettes and CD's to his credit.
His Gaayaki is characterized by a full throated akaar, dazzling taans, a sophisticated use of techniques such as meend and gamak, and a clever grasp of the intricacies of layakari - a fine balance of aesthetics and intellect, which is the hallmark of Jaipur-Attrauli Gharana.
In addition to a mastery of the presentation of classical raags, his command over semi-classical genres (thumri, ghazal, bhajan, abhang, etc.) accounts for his versatility & singularity among Hindustani vocalists.
It's no wonder that he is being looked upon as the torch-bearer of Jaipur-Attrauli Gharana, and more so, of Kishori tai's eclectic gaayaki.
Pt. Raghunandan Panshikar has also been honoured with prestigious awards like Zee Gaurav Puraskar, Maharashtra Govt. Award, Ramkrishnabua Vaze Puraskar, Sangeet Kala Ratna Puraskar (Patna).
'Guntata Hriday He' is a natyageet from the legendary Marathi play 'Matsyagandha', whose music has been composed by Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki. This particular rendition evokes nostalgic memories of the great natyasangeet singers gone by.

This semi classical song is from a Marathi Musical Drama "Matsyagandhaa". The story is about Rishi Parashar who is on his way to Himalayas for meditation to invoke Lord Shiva met a fisher woman Satyavati. She helped people go from one side to other of River Gaga. She exudes fishy smell from her body because she is in the world of Matsya (fish). However, she is very pretty and Rishi Parashare fell in love with her. She reminds him that she has this foul smell which he can not tolerate (cont.)

Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar is indeed a very Senior Disciple of Gaan Saraswati Smt. Kishori Amonkar and has mastered all nuances of the Jaipur Ataruali Gharana but according to me if you hear him closely there is an iota of influence on his singing of the Great, Legendary and Saintly Abhishekibuwa who mastered music of all Gharanas in all genres of Hindustani Classical Music. Absolutely Mellifluous. At 7.00 How beautifully he transformed the alaap from Khamaj in to bhoop & again back to khamaj . Can't see any classical singers in current generation other Pt. Panshikar & Sanjeev Abhyankar who have a Sweet voice for a Male artist.
Also Raag Shankara can hear before this

She bore a child through him who wan none other than Rishi Vedavyas, the creator of Mahabharat epic. Rishi Parashar also returned her to vergin state before leaving for Himalayas with his son Devarshee Ved vyaas, who was a part incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

एवढं छान गाणं रंगलाय वाहह.
पण ह्या शूटिंग करणाऱ्याने बरोबर केले नाही.कॅमेरा आहे तसाच ठेवलाय .जरा तबला पेटी वादकांवर फिरवायचा की मधे प्रेक्षक पण घ्यायला हवे होते.कॅमेरा वाला सगळ्यात बेकार आहे
