    - colour choice
    - sample colours

    - font pairs

    I'm not a graphic designer nor an aspiring graphic designer, but I love these videos. Even as an engineer and someone that likes to watercolor, I find it inspiring. Watching other people discuss their art and design is fascinating to me

    Hey Satori, What should be the standard spacing between logomark and typography in the Combination mark logos(e.g.: Adidas) horizontally and vertically. And what should be the standard size aspect ratio between both, horizontal and vertical?
    what about the outside spacing of a logo?

    I love sampling colours from a photograph, but it's hard, because a lot of clients don't have consistent photography. It's easier to do it the other way around, as you can colour correct photographs to get the right colour samples.

      Corel is fine for those who can use it. The tool is not really much of an issue, you can use Inkscape, Affinity, whatever you want basically. As long as it produces vector graphics and you are comfortable with it.

    Do you think it's best to learn most of logo design by working for clients, or should I at least practice making logos for a while beforehand? So far I've been teaching myself about graphic design online for a year and I'm not sure if I'm ready to start working with people.

      For such videos I pass on my design outlines to a motion graphics editor. They sometimes use templates and other times do things from scratch

    I get how we can choose colors something that is material, like food furniture etc. What about Marketing based website? Education based website. The color psychology recommended colors are over used. So should I stand out or fit in?

    Greetings, Satori Graphics.
    I want to learn graphic designing and the art it provides, but anywhere i look for it people only talk about minimalistic styles.
    What about other styles, what other styles are there, what other options could i use, why would i only use a minimalistic style and is there any other type of graphic designing except for web designing?
    I'm a begginer at all of this and i know nothing. I always considered myself an artist because i always understood art and knew how to express my own type of art (In a not so simple and minimal way). I always liked fantasy type games and i would love to be in that industry, I would love to create 3d art for the open worlds and open worlds themselves and i would love to create interfaces and UIs.
    Are these youtube guides for graphic design and graphic design itself something im looking for to help me with my goals?

      It looks like Swiss 721 Std Thin by Bitstream. www.fonts.com/font/bitstream/swiss-721/thin
      There are quite a few that look almost identical but the one above comes closest.

    i dont know why but the landing page without the image looks so sus. whenever i see a vaguely professional looking website like that without any brand or product-specific images it seriously makes me think “...is this a scam?”
