I hope they make the movies darker and gritter. Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: Lost World are the apex movies in the franchise for me. The Jurassic World movies seemed to lose their edge throughout the trilogy.
They should make at least one prequel... Now THAT would be awesome. Breaking boundaries with genetics and hatching the first dinosaurs, dealing with the fact that Hammond knew dinosaurs were getting off the island, the first Jurassic deaths, all leading up to Jurassic Park.
The trouble with that is that nothing can go too wrong. It would have to be a character piece, which itself wouldn’t be a huge problem, but thrust have to recast Hammond, and the resolution of his story was already shown in the first two films. Jurassic Time on TH-cam, made from audio clips of Richard Attenborough, is probably the best version of that story we’ll ever get.
This past year saw a lot of massive tentpole blockbusters underperform or outright flop, and audiences are quite discerning and aware of a movie's shortcomings. If Universal wants to keep Jurassic going, they need a clever new approach while also keeping with the spirit of the earlier films. I really hope they nail it with Chaos Theory, the upcoming game, and David Koepp's film. Now with superheroes in a somewhat tenuous place, it would be interesting if other paleomedia starts cropping up in films or TV (give or take a few duds like 65), and books as well (my personal arena). With Godzilla and Kong also doing well, this could be a very good decade for kaiju, monsters and dinosaurs.
God, it's great that Colin Trevorrow is not near the script because underwhelming Dominion is his work. We need new ideas and characters in the new movie; it'd be better if it was a grounded story with characters we can relate to. Universal Studi will probably spoil the entire movie with the first trailer as usual so we would know what to expect. Glad we are finally getting a dinosaur game that's not a walking survival simulator or the park sim.
Cautiously optimistic kinda sums up how I currently feel as well. With Crichton no longer being among us to help steer the direction of the franchise’s plotline it is now entirely up to the film-makers to get it right.
Can they do a prequel to JP or at least something that follows the books more closely. Crichton's books are almost all really gripping. We can't resurrect him and imitations of his work are exactly that. Why not give us a realistic and faithful adaption. It's the only way a reboot could feel fresh and not like a rehash of what worked in the past
3:02 I think thats that gonna be like you said the characters are older so the show must be a bit mote mature i mean its still the jurrasic franchise (The franchise about escaped dinos killing and hunting people)
My wish is that the new film and Jurassic Park Survival are connected. I don't want to watch another Jurassic World film. What's more, I'm not interested in seeing how dinosaurs and humans now live together worldwide. The trailer for Jurassic Park Survival breathed the spirit of the first film.
Universal really dropped the Ball on the JP 30th Anniversay, I think they didn't release JP Survival on console's or Chaos theory on stream due to the saga Aftra strike so 2024 bring us all the Prehistoric Action that your I.P. holder with held.❤😂
I'm hopeful that the franchise will go back to having a smarter more techno thriller feel like the original Jurassic park movies and books. Hopefully with David Koepp on board, that might be possible. Since he actually worked with Michael Crichton on the Jurassic Park script , hopefully we'll see some of Crichton's themes in this movie. As for the game and tv show, I hope they feel more park then world as well. Just please: no more BRAD-X or remote controlling dinosaurs.
Personally, I couldn't care less for Camp cretaceous, nor could I ever get that excited over the show's upcoming sequel Chaos Theory. Instead, my attention is set right on the game Jurassic Park Survival. As long as they don't do any weird virtual signaling & just stick to being true to the origions of Jurassic Park, having all of that being incorporated into the game, also if it's anything like what Trespasser was intended to be, then Survival should really be a kick ass game to play. The only thing that gives me any hope for this new upcoming Jurassic film to be anything worth wild is knowing that David K. is back to turning this post Dominion garbage around, & turning it into something like how the first park movies were made: with not only the characters, but having the focus shift over to the dinosaurs as the main plot to the story as well. But I worry about the timeline release date; the cast hasn't been compiled yet & the film doesn't even have a film director either. The whole thing just feels like it's being rushed. That's why I'm only cautiously optimistic. Steven Speilberg would be my first choice as director, but we all know that's only a pipe dream. I thought J.A. Bayona did a good job bringing all of the horror elements to Fallen Kingdom, so he would actually be my second choice. I guess Bryce Dallas Howard could do something worth wild as a director, but I think I'd still prefer Bayona over Bryce because of all the cool horror elements he brought to Fallen Kingdom. With David K. working with Bayona, I think they can bring this upcoming film up to the same level of intensity & horror as the Lost World Jurassic Park & formulate a story plot that is as good as the first Jurassic park movie. Now, we'll see what really happens.
I'm confused why people think there is going to be virtue signaling in this game. We have to go through this outrage bait every time a game has a woman now. Can they at least wait until there is even a shred of evidence before enciting the woke witchhunt?
Surprised Koep is returning, he didn't even like Crichton's second book and most of the set pieces in his scripts that were movie specific were (sarcastic air quotes) totally not lifted from the Carnosaur novel. Meh maybe he will steal the Plesiosaur attacking a party boat scene that was a good bit.
Jurassic world dosnt count in my mind so this new film will truly be the 4th instalment of Jurassic park however I don’t mind the camp Cretaceous as long as they don’t actually use that idea of controller controlled dinosaurs in live action as that would just pull me right out of the film 😂
I hope this could be a movie set in the past or in a different universe where dinosaurs have be made in a lab like the last few but they could be taking a totally a lot different approach bringing back it’s magic and turning less like a modern day monster movie it could be a part 1 of a huge new saga
Can we just get back to when it was suspenseful and people were more Dino food and scarier just like the spino scene on the run way that dramatized me when I was a kid and still love that scene today
I liked Jurassic World 1 for what it was, but it that and the other jurassic world movies just tried to hard and they tried to be goofy and funny when it wasn't needed, the dialog was boring and didn't stick and they just rushed everything. And don't even get me started how just about every other scene is full of music. What I loved about the original trilogy was, to me, they took their time with the story and each piece of dialog was worth something. You don't get very intellectual conversations in the newer movies just a bunch of gibberish and the Jurassic World movies just didn't interest me. Not everything in the original trilogy was perfect but it was structured much better and paced. There were events, although some suttle or more in your face than others that they built upon. Just like the way they introduced the raptors in jurassic park. You never saw them right away but they built them up to be the most vicious apex predators and they delivered. Or how in The Lost World Sarah Harding is supposed to be the best at what she does in her field but literally drops the ball on everything she does and says when shes on the island. Talks about how the trexes are extremely territorial and thinks everything will be fine adter they give the baby back or how she doesnt get rid of her jacket with the baby trexs blood on it and that in turn has the trexes hunt them. Just little bits of information inserted here and there to build upon to create a great story. Whatever they end up doing with this new movie i really hope they just take a step back from trying to fill the movie with fan fair stuff and go back to the gritty and thriller nature of how jurassic park was.
David Koepp is pretty useless without Michael Crichton doing the heavy lifting. His writing credits on IMDB are a shameful list of flops and mediocrity.
At least two of these will flop. The survival game is far to overhyped. Yes I also always dreamt of a game like that. But what we see as ingamr footage so far doesnt really look promising to me (bad graphics, level-trigger design, no true open world). The cinematic doesnt fool me. The movie has its plus with koepp returning, which is nice. But cutting, directing, executives etc will have an Impact on that movie way more then just the backstory. If they continue where JW ended it will be horrible. Chaos Theory will continue what camp shitaceous has started: a fine TV series with stupid decisions, plot holes and bad animation. Too bad a lot of people use it as canon material to justify the real world lore things. Without aknowledging the plot holes and that fact that people and animals would be capable of teleportation in that case. We need a new chichton book, one or two very good movies and a free open world game. Sorry, but to me, in my opinion they wont well me their shit anymore
If they make a game where you just play as a dinosaur would do absolutely fantastic! You could play as a dinosaur and survive on maps like Nublar, Sorna, MantahCorp Island, Malta, etc. I think people would love to play a chill game like this to sinply relax. I'd love it. For JP: Survival, I think it would also do well, because the fans have been wanting something liks this for as long as I can remember. For Chaos Theory, I think its gonna be a dope show, can't wait. For Jurassic 7, it depends on various factors.
I hope they make the movies darker and gritter. Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: Lost World are the apex movies in the franchise for me. The Jurassic World movies seemed to lose their edge throughout the trilogy.
idk about 2. The book is so far superior. Park and World are def my 2 favs
What's wrong with JP3?
APEX 🔥

A prequel to The Lost World with all of the backstory and the hurricane have more potential.

I for one am just *so* glad that _”LIFE FOUND A WAY (😃)!”_
God, it's great that Colin Trevorrow is not near the script because underwhelming Dominion is his work. I can't wait for the game. If it's even just halfway decent I'll be happy.
This is gonna be awesome to see the future stories of the Jurassic Park franchise
Cautiously optimistic kinda sums up how I currently feel as well. With Crichton no longer being among us to help steer the direction of the franchise’s plotline it is now entirely up to the film-makers to get it right.
I wonder if you'll find Muldoon's body or hat.
A Turok (2008 game) or Dino Crisis themed game would be nice as well
I’d welcome those, too (👍)!
MAKE JURASSIC GREAT AGAIN 🦖🦕
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😊
I'm excited for all of them!

I'm excited for the game Jurassic Park Survival.
I think it would be nice if Bryce Dallas Howard could direct Jurassic World 4.

Looking forward to chaos theory
Dinosaur 🦖🦕 and prehistoric animal.
I'm very hopeful!! If the producers are THAT confident in Koepp's new script, then I know we're in good hands!!
Do you feel the same today? 😄
@@JurassicOutpost I wish the new villain in JW: Chaos Theory will be the greedy/vengeful worker or non-mercenary of Eli Mills.🙏🙏🙏

It would be interesting if Chaos Theory or the new film delved into what has become of Ingen.
I am really looking forward for Jurassic park survival but would love another lego game to be honest.
Love it!

Totally agree, camp cretaceous got way too silly

WHY NO NINTENDO SWITCH PORT FOR JP SURVIVAL?!?!?!?!?!

and the funny thing is we dont know any concreate release
So excited! I don't care what anyone says, this is gonna be epic 🔥
I think the clear path forward for the movie franchise is to go post-apocalyptic
First again❤
The might be cancelled due the comany letting go staff and as gon in to the private sector and had only said about a star wars game
Exciting sure but I'm still worried

Its better that katheryn bigelow to direct jw 4 she is a great action director ❤
damn, I hope survival would be in the same gore level as until dawn
