I have never had a problem with your camera angle or the lined mat. When you have 65,000 subs its impossible to please everyone. I can’t even imagine trying to work around mic’s and cameras and lights on top of having to make sure you are doing it inside a little area that you have to stay in. You have to film the way you are comfortable. Great video today.
I don't usually read a lot of the comments as I'm so addicted to watching the videos LOL! But your comment got me stirred and I say if this person can do better with the camera and her measuring Matt then she needs to put a video out and show us how to do it right. To me that is nit picking!

Honestly Gayle! What you have to put up with! I can’t believe what people complain about, if it isn’t the crackling of the paper, it’s the noise of the sewing machine, or the position of the camera! It’s good to take care of those skin things, even though it hurts. I had a squamous cell cancer removed from the tip of my nose about 20 years ago, and it’s been ok since.

I love all the things that you completed today. I always enjoy the MM and Roxy challenges. So fun. I think your other camera angle was better ... this angle seems off. But as Trish stated so well, we are guests here, you do what works for you! I appreciate all the time and effort that you put in to creating these videos. And yes, I agree, I want everything within reach, therefore my work table is always a mess. 😀

I focus more on what you’re doing and enjoy that rather than what your camera angle is. Never gave it a thought actually. As everyone else said, you do you and what’s comfortable for you to video. It bums me out to hear that one person had an issue with your camera and your mat. As I don’t know the situation with this person I will be kind. I've watched many of your videos and haven't had any issues. There's been once in a while when i wanted to see a product close up that you are showing and I touch my screen and draw the picture out. That does help at times. It might help the individuals who have trouble seeing things.

About your camera placement: I think you might consider finding a way of placing the camera at 12 o'clock from where you are sitting (at 6 o'clock), rather from the side (which is why the lines are skewed and might be why your subbie is queasy). Also try making sure that the camera is level with the desktop, you might try getting a small bubble level to help with that. I hope this helps! Cheers! 🌼

Hi Gayle, your camera angle was fine and the lined work mat is a staple with crafters, no line problems here. I enjoy your videos and learn a lot. Now for the rant part-I can not believe you have changed your set up due to a complaint from one person-perhaps a ton of viewers complained-I still just can’t comprehend changing a set up that has worked well in the past because someone said your videos make her “ill “ you are kind to try to accommodate one person (or maybe a few) ,but the rest of us , and I’m sure there were a lot of viewers who were just fine.
