America’s military is also huge and has a global foot print. When you have hundreds of small bases like the one above all over the world, all of a sudden your budget isn’t looking so good. Same issue with other countries and their militaries. Stuff is so expensive these days that even paying tens of billions doesn’t guarantee you saturation. For instance, Australia is buying nuclear submarine technology and creating a new nuclear submarine with the UK and US. This will cost them around AU$386 billion (around US$260billion) but will only get them 8 submarines.

Gotta love how open about the corruption Washington DC is being now. Not even pretending anymore. 20 years ago they'd have at least like waited till they were out of public office to take up the cushy board position and the huge bonus they'd get for their "past work".
Such an assassination hit against a leader will immediately stop operations usually since how did their enemy know the guy was in that car at that time? Was it a hacker or was it an operative actively observing them, maybe it was a mole or a hole in their security? Is the rest of the leadership threatened by this capability? Can they defend against the threat posed by such systems? Long story short this kind of stuff is precisely how you deal with a situation like this. Make them paranoid, make them second guess themselves, screw with the heads of their leaders. I suspect Iranian leaders really do not want to bite off more than they can chew and whilst they will still keep up the political bs to get the backing of the people (because this anti-Western stuff is just political bulls**t they abuse to stay in power and to fanaticize their people) they will make sure to be more careful next time them or one of their proxies chooses to screw around. On another note Iran is not ready for this war and they never will be, if they ever go to war with the US military directly, well, that will only happen if the Iranian leaders have zero other options. I'd say even a war with neighboring Pakistan is probably more palatable for the Iranians than fully pissing off the US and that's saying something since a war with Pakistan would not end well for them either, Pakistan has enough nukes and a big enough army to deter India and they are in turn strong enough to deter China. (Pakistan is kind of underrated in my opinion.) Iran is in a far more precarious situation than many would think so unless one of those proxy groups launches an ill-advised attack again that tips the balance too much and sets off the US. I suspect that Iran is already strong-arming these proxies to exert more control over them. I suspect that this whole situation caused an utter s**tshow amongst Iran's leaders from day one.

LIDS deploys as either mobile or fixed, relocatable platforms. The system can provide stationary support for an installation or site, and a transportable configuration Layered defense takes a system of systems approach … to counter the growing threat from unmanned systems
I find the Americans love their dualism. It's always something vs something. Reps or Dems, military or healthcare, choose one. It doesn't have to be that way. You can have both. The problem is not so much the fund allocation, it's the system design favoring middlemen (insurance companies) and love for litigation, which both inflate costs dramatically
Welfare states work only if the population is homogeneous. Not going to happen in US. The only option is being a good employee for a company with good benefits. Good luck 🤞
Dramatically changing the Federal government's role in healthcare would drop the cost by orders of magnitude. Constitutionally health care is the purview of the States, the Feds have an advisory/referee role. If the Feds close our collective wallet, drop income tax to a flat 5% for anyone over the Federal poverty level (0% for those under), drop corporate tax to 10% of revenue -less direct non-managerial employee compensation. You'll see how fast the prices drop on services provided.

You may be the first TH-camr to be sponsored by a defence company :D
A few videos ago it was literally general electronics
There's some other military channels I've seen that have military contractors advertising too
@@Sven73524 Aren't they General Electric?
Also, GE makes appliances, so technically you can buy their stuff. Who knows, maybe Raytheon makes refrigerators.
@@McCaroni_Sup they make air handling units and other HVAC equipment prolly because all the technology they’ve made to cool certain systems down.
How the hell did you get sponsored by Raytheon of all things?
it's been awesome working with them I get insider information on all their systems and capabilities now which I get to pass on to you guys
By being a propagandist.
@@laughingseal2282I mean, he was a US soldier and seems proud of his service. He doesn't make this a secret nor did he ever claim he has no bias, so I don't really think it's propaganda since everything about his view for these kinds of topics is upfront. Like, yeah, no shit he's going to promote a company that supported his former employer in a tangible way.
@@bradleyperry1735 yeah, they are really scummy, and anyone who shills their products willingly is a sellout.
That's kinda of a no brainer@@bradleyperry1735
How may I acquire this Raytheon product for my suburban home defense?
Each person who knows you has a different perception of who you are.
Quick note: I saw your TH-cam channel name called out on a recent update for questions that were being asked at the Pentagon, I think. Very cool! 👍
There is also a T and P news website.
Interesting how targeting the leaders who give the orders, led to an immediate de-escalation of the situation.
With an attack like that they were probably just like "fuck it, that's wild dude, we don't want no part of it"
When Trump ordered the hit on Soleimani, Iran decided to chill for MONTHS afterward. Biden's boss, the Tan Messiah (Obama) is running this show and he hates Israel. He is still working to give Iran hegemony over the region. When Iran announces they have nuclear weapons, the strategic situation will become untenable for Israel.
Any launch they detect from a neighbor after that point, will have to be assumed to be a nation-ending nuclear weapon. M.A.D. does not work on Islamic fundamentalist death cults. So when those funny-shaped clouds begin appearing, remember who made it possible.
@@ggaggagga4I don't know if you've heard but, while OUR military is half way round the world, OUR southern border is wide open and tens of millions of illegals are swarming across it.
Priorities.
I've always thought it was absolutely ridiculous and asinine that we specifically would not target actual policy-makers but no one bats an eye that we would conduct an airstrike which kills a handful of innocent conscript enemy soldiers (for instance)
It's a very "European Nobles ransoming each other but slaughtering common foot soldiers" policy :/
@@ggaggagga4lol, let me correct you on your facts... Iran retaliated and fired ballistic missiles into Iraq and hit US Bases and Trump chilled out after missle strike, probably was too busy playing golf or lying about whatever...
Good to see the sources I like referencing each other. My man Preston
For some unfathomable reason, the response team didn't consider a lack of milk for my cereal as a proper emergency.
The silence before the storm.
Things are about to get real proportional round here.
🤣🤣🤣 super underrated comment!
They messed around, now they get to find out
You know you've made it when Raytheon is sponsoring you
no doubt, he is a zionist, considering Raytheo is mainly run by them
Ok cappy fine, I’ll take a Raytheon missle! Do y’all accept cash app??😂
That hellfire is less of a knife and more of an "apple" corer.
The quality of your videos in the last few months has improved drastically.
The content and production value are impressive!
Congratulations! 😊👍
Putting that Raytheon money to good use
There are many around the world watching your vids... *well done.*
publicly available information isn't hard for most governments and serious groups to get a hold of.
Didn't expect the raytheon ad.
Wait a minute... Raytheon is the sponsor 🤔🤔🤔 still one of my fav TH-cam channels, but this has to say something
You packaged a lot of information into a comprehensive and understandable modern weapons and deterrents seminar. Its was the 💣💥
You remember when Trump ordered the generals to withdraw from Syria and the generals completely ignored that order and then lied to him and stated that they did withdraw. Who is actually running the country if not the president?
Western presidents are just diplomatic figureheads
Raytheon!?!! Is this dude’s sponser? Who’s watching these vids?
I got an email from the colonel in charge of a tank manufacturing plant in a country that I was asked not to name....so....I guess the military industrial complex is watching? to clarify though....that email was him telling me he liked the video but I got 1 fact wrong about his Infantry fighting vehicle haha
@@Taskandpurposewho cares . Make that money cappy
@@Taskandpurpose I guess that makes sense. It’s like producing a channel that’s talks about watches and being sponsored by Patek Philippe. It means that among your audience are the elite.
@@Taskandpurpose Hide the women and children. The Americans are spreading democracy again!
Sounds like it got real "proportional" over there.
With America having the biggest military spending by far it's very surprising that there is a shortage of such basic military equipment😮
Hehehehehehe, that just lets you know what other countries don't like to admit, it's not quantity, it's quality babeee. Weapons systems that make the enemy go "what the fuck dude..that's not even fair"
@@eddiet7228and the VA. It aIone costs more than most countries' defense budgets (and plenty of GDPs).
we're only spending ~3% and that's shrinking. If we stay on this path, NATO is gonna start bitching at us for not meeting requirements.
Chris hitting the big time now with the Raytheon sponsorship. Congrats.
😂 So my military failed at protecting its soldiers and nobody got punished for that. Ok
Tower 22 no longer has a secret mission after this
Does anybody ever ask why we have bases in Jordan and Syria anyway?
@@citrusretna2088we have bases everywhere

If any american ever asks himself why he doesn't have free healthcare, free education and public transport, just look up what all those military bases around the would cost the american taxpayer on a yearly basis. It's actually nuts how much a geographically remote base costs to maintain.

That moment when my brain reads "Attack on Titan" instead.

Oh, the old "keep the same schedule" trick. That didn't work in Vietnam either. It's also not good for the IFF system to be in OFF mode.
Cappy got dat defense contract
Thanks raytheon!
Raytheon commercial was pretty neat. Are you offering any discounts if we mention your channel during checkout? But where is the "add to cart" button? I want an Iron Dome battery for my back yard.
I saw the outfit change and knew to skip ahead and saw “Raytheon” and thought “oh crap, it’s not an ad” “today’s sponsor is RaYtHeOn”
Considering I ended up landing in a logistics career... instead of going to the Corps simpy because I was young, angry and had a death wish. I shouldve joined the army and gone for a logistics MOS. I watch these videos and realize how unbelievably impressive and complex the armys logistics system is. Now that Im older I cant imagine how much experience I couldve brought to my career in the real world.
Our Secretary of Defense is on the board of Raytheon, and has substantial compensation derived from them.
He will do what's good for business.
Gotta love how open about the corruption Washington DC is being now. Not even pretending anymore. 20 years ago they'd have at least like waited till they were out of public office to take up the cushy board position and the huge bonus they'd get for their "past work".
Damn, impressive freaking research and explanations in this one. You have really gotten good man, keep it up!
Raytheon sponsorship? Cappy's moving up in the world!
too much information for the enemy to understand about the defenses of the camp
18:58 Why do they write pieces theorizing "what they might do next"?
Just planting ideas..🌱💡 obviously 💥
(Pakistan is kind of underrated in my opinion.)
Iran is in a far more precarious situation than many would think so unless one of those proxy groups launches an ill-advised attack again that tips the balance too much and sets off the US. I suspect that Iran is already strong-arming these proxies to exert more control over them. I suspect that this whole situation caused an utter s**tshow amongst Iran's leaders from day one.
I love Task and Purpose! Great wise cracking analysis. Excellent information in a timely manner. Good stuff

I just want affordable health insurance
