I’ve listened to this whole set well over 50 times and I still keep coming back... So many hours of my life spent on this set and I don’t regret a single second.
I must have watched this 4 or 5 times before, only just spotted Tamara from the Weather Station singing vocals, another great Canadian Folk band.... this crowd had no clue how good they had it.
Despite both being Canadians, apparently marketing trumps talent. Every single time. Also reflects greatly on the appreciation level of who is listening/viewing.
Setlist : Lost in the Light Caught Me Thinkin' I Got You Babe Already Yours For Good Reason Okay Alright I'm Alive Overjoyed Hockey Teeth Please Forgive My Heart (Bobby Womack cover) Your Sweet Touch Never Again
That guitar sounds beautiful. They got a real distinctive sound that stands out which is an achievement in itself. There's a lot of good bands out there that just seem to blend on with the rest of the charts.
I love this this guy. I heared him on a brushfire records complation and very quickly got pulled the Bahamas orbit. Just saw him in NYC just a few days ago.
@@narkysharky2135nah he literally just grabs like 4 random bandmates each album. He’s a legend. Literally had a song that goes like “I am, one man, I can’t, do anything. We are, now 4, we can, do anything.” Epic song writing as well.
Bahamas My home and Country....... it is the most beautiful and number one destination for a tranquil and healthy life style; Caribbean enhanced with Cosmopolitan flavor
They opened for Jack Johnson in Nashville last year, not saying they were better than JJ, but damn, I fell in love and bought all of their records while waiting for JJ to come to the stage.
Discovered this guy cause I was looking up the song in that phone commercial where the guy falls off a building in slo-motion. All The Time was the song so I checked out some other stuff and this guy is really talented. Watching all I can!!!
Saw Bahamas in DC in 2014, awesome show! I skew to the upper end of the 35+ crowd Afie refers to early on in the show but that shouldn't be why I can appreciate the quality of the song writing, musicianship and vocals Bahamas offers. The crowd in this iTunes show doesn't seem too bad until 'Overjoyed'. Then they seem to get restless...I don't get it. But I've experienced this at other venues and other artists. Some people come together to be together and not bc of the music. It is frustrating but not much can be done about rudeness...you can spend energy shushing people but then you may lose your hockey teeth.
This audience must have been lost playing with their Iphones, they should have just stayed home and let some people get into it that appreciate live music.
beginning of Overjoyed has a lot of David Bowie's "little china girl" vibes , probs just the pentatonic but still had me checking if they were actually about to play it :D
I couldn't figure out why all the comments on this video were complaining about the crowd but after listening to this for 5 minutes and hearing all the talking I would have been screaming at people to shut the F up in the crowd.
Seriously...this band is awesome...funny how hot chix seem to always think it's about the cute guitarplayer singer... F THAT! "THEY" ROCK!!!! I'm going to see'em on the 19 of June @ Irving Plaza in NYC! i've got an extra ticket if anyone wants to join... Be there or be square! hahahah! :D This life.
I saw them in DC an there were these two jerks behind me running their mouths and yelling stupidity. The lead singer actually stopped the song and called them out. They are a very talented band.

He said his music captures ages 35+. I'm 14 and I love his music!!
16 here they aound so much better live.
+Brad Allen I agree. I would love to see him live!
30:35 Please Forgive my Heart
I love this guy! Such a great music! We must spread his music around the world!
People shut up, that crowd is terribbble. He is a solid player, and with two angels as backup vocalists. They kick a** beautifully.
I must have watched this 4 or 5 times before, only just spotted Tamara from the Weather Station singing vocals, another great Canadian Folk band.... this crowd had no clue how good they had it.
Love this dude. The man has a knack for charmingly stating the obvious.
Justin Beiber - 2 billion views...The bahamas - 30 500 views...
What's wrong with the world?
Jordan Capiral Whats wrong is we're not 12 year old girls with raging hormones.
who cares?
The peoples.

Afie blew us away in Charleston WV 10/2021... we loved his performance!

I love this man and his music.
me too!
Jack Johnson played after them. The crowd was awful for him, too. Very rude. This is a great set by Bahamas. Too bad the crowd missed it.
Guy should be a major star....Selfishly I love seeing him in intimate venues though!
That guitar sounds beautiful. They got a real distinctive sound that stands out which is an achievement in itself. There's a lot of good bands out there that just seem to blend on with the rest of the charts.
I was lucky enough to see him perform in Leeds. Honestly such a dream - such an absolutely beautiful sound.
I listened for 2 seconds and immediately bought my ticket to see him live.
Krista Roman *Them
- NarkySharky - No it's a him, those other people are his back-up band..
guys please, everyone matters he's afie is just leading.
I love this this guy. I heared him on a brushfire records complation and very quickly got pulled the Bahamas orbit. Just saw him in NYC just a few days ago.

The guitar tone and the drums sound perfect together, love the acoustics of the room too
he's even better live that on record
So good. Thought I might stay for a song or two. Watched the whole show.

this man means the world to me.

Your sweet touch was so epic.
How many more times can I watch this? Remains to be seen.
Wow, thanks for getting this online. Just discovered the concert. Its very enjoyable.
22:10 Overjoyed. such a great song.
Discovered this guy cause I was looking up the song in that phone commercial where the guy falls off a building in slo-motion. All The Time was the song so I checked out some other stuff and this guy is really talented. Watching all I can!!!
hahaha exact same way I found him. quickly became my favorite artist.
Awesome Set. HE ONLY KEEPS GETTING BETTER
So many feels. This is what life is all about.
I just found this amazing band 2 weeks ago, How cpme?1?1?
I wish I could play my sivertone like you play yours , great music from everyone
Saw them at Firefly and loved them. I was just wandering around the festival ground and just had to stay there to listen to their whole set.
Really loving Afie's sound
🎶💕🎶 thank You
Sounds and feels like heaven
I'm a happy one part of some all one🎶🕊️🌏🌎🌍🕊️🎶
Great back up!

so damn good
Love this set and video.
I think that's Tamara Lindeman (The Weather Station) singing backup.
I was looking for the bass player then i was like WHOA!! This dude is playing bass and guitar at the same time! Such a gangster!
we are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams-willie wonka
Really solid guitar player.
Love his guitar tone. Would be great to see him upload a "rig" run down video. Saw them a few weeks ago and was so blown away by his sound.
I think it's all vintage Silvertone gear. The guitar is for sure but I think his amp is another cheap vintage Silvertone or similar brand
Amp looks like a blackface fender twin reverb or deluxe reverb to me. Also it sounds like he's using an octave pedal on parts.
if you knew how your music relaxes me - i think i'll never go to work or even type italics again
beginning of Overjoyed has a lot of David Bowie's "little china girl" vibes , probs just the pentatonic but still had me checking if they were actually about to play it :D
Please forgive my heart is brilliant!! >3
73bernice best song!
This is amazing wtf
I'm in Barrie watching this 18:17
this crowd can't name a single song
This could grow on one comfortably I think, quite awesome blend at the end w/ super ladysingers.. A!oha
I couldn't figure out why all the comments on this video were complaining about the crowd but after listening to this for 5 minutes and hearing all the talking I would have been screaming at people to shut the F up in the crowd.
Can anyone tell me what his guitar's make and model are? Also, I can't read what his hat says, anyone?
Hooked since the first time I heard them(him).
+Omar Ochoa That is a Silvertone 1423, made by Harmony, early 60's.
+Omar Ochoa Teamsters, bud! That's be the union :)
Whats the name of the song at 22:10??
Overjoyed haha
22:10
What are all the songs called? Lol
How does he have the bass octaver effect drop the octave on the low guitar notes, but not always on the higher notes?
why is audience talking during he singing?
its rude to him.
no bassist? Afie if you get this, hook it up man! I'm ready
@30:45 song please???
it's a cover of "Please Forgive My Heart ".
thaaaaaaaaaaank very very much!!!
you*
Hey i love pink floyd too! way more than the bahamas but i still like the bahamas
was the bass guitar added later on, or they played with samples? if someone know the answer?
DeGuy music there is no bass in this performance- its just Afie’s amazing guitar playing.
song at 22:50 anyone??
Henrique Garrido Overjoyed
Seriously...this band is awesome...funny how hot chix seem to always think it's about the cute guitarplayer singer... F THAT! "THEY" ROCK!!!! His voice sounds quite similar to Jack Johnson's
11:55 song?
+Vanessa Garcia Already Yours
THANK YOU!!!
bucky barnes sings so good
I saw them in DC an there were these two jerks behind me running their mouths and yelling stupidity. The lead singer actually stopped the song and called them out. They are a very talented band.
Bahamas is just solid, back-up singers are awesome! Crowd was lame!
Afie beautifull guitar voice songwritting ... itunes festival did a bad job it seems
Nicely done considering no bass player in this set. Great music. The crowd is borderline dead.
Apart from that afie is a wizard
i like this guys music, but why cant he keep the same backing singers lol, every video of him live, always differant people
Stu Wright the backing singers are part of other bands so they’re not always available.
Is there no bass player here, just him hitting the bottom E & A?
what cant chuck norris do? lol
+Sjoerd Visser You just made my day! Aside from being everything else, Chuck is also a killer musician indeed!
U should see the guy playing drums for Gov't Mule Matt Ants=bad Ass
ABTS. MATT ABTS. badAss
Champ
what's wrong with the audience! seriously!
Great question! Same thing I thought! Wtf?!
What a lame crowd!
