BtoB are known for their harmonies (which can make them sound like a choir), their amazing vocals, their close bond as a group, and their hilariously crazy personalities. These days they also write and produce their own music, but they don’t do a lot of intense choreography. They used to have one more member, but their leader got into a scandal and had to leave the group. I fell in love with BtoB while watching the 2021 battle of the bands show, Kingdom: Legendary War. I watched the show for Ateez and Stray Kids, but those groups got teamed up with BtoB against the other 3 groups, and who would have known that BtoB would be the funniest group out of 3 famously funny groups. Minhyuk (the rapper on the far left with the blue shirt) says that Stray Kids still treat his apartment like their second dorm. If you want to see how chaotic BtoB is for yourself there is a series of compilation videos called something like BtoB: quiet and reserved idols that is hilarious.
And BTOB is well known (for older gen) to be a crazy, funny group. Btob stands for Born to Beat officially but for Beagle to Be in reality. They are all CRAZY. During a music show, they choose a concept pretty special for a stage : drunk after work!

@@brionyfakatou1620 Eunkwang has always been leader, however during enlistment time, they spun a wheel to randomly select their new temporary roles while others were away serving in the military. So after Eunkwang enlisted, Minhyuk was randomly selected as next leader, then it was Peniel when Minhyuk enlisted 5 months later. However, Peniel was leader for only like 3 minutes, if that, because they put in a rule that if Sungjae got the "maknae" role 3 times for spin the wheel roles, he'd automatically become leader, which was what happened right after Peniel became leader XD After a little over a year of Sungjae being leader, it went back to being Eunkwang because he was discharged from the military by then. This is an 11 yr old self composing and producing group..also called the vocal/harmony kings who are famous for their beautiful songs and amazing LIVE stages. They are versatile..have diverse discography and not afraid to try out something new..their music ranges from pop to dance, jazz, funk, rock, ballad, R&B..so hard to categorize that BTOB is a genre in itself. The members are artists, actors, musicians but also comedians as they are all loud, crazy, funny and such dorks. They really have great personalities and have this genuine bond of friendship and brotherhood among them. Seungjae (2nd on the left) and Minhyuk are actors, Eunkwang (dark sweater in middle, hes also the leader) and Changsub (2nd from left) are both musical actors and Peniel (1st on the right) has a podcast with other Korean Americans (some of them idols also) on Dive studios here on youtube :) Some has done radio hosting before also and they are always so much fun in variety shows and tvshows. When you say the guy f* cries and the song played in the background, actually kind of correct, if then the scene show their past before they breakup 😔 The Song is somehow a reminiscent(?) about their past 10 years and with melody (their fandom), with some of the title of their past song included as part of the lyric.
I suggest you listen and watch their concert versions because they sound much much much better than recordings. And they sing everything live cuz they suck at lip-syncing.

I've been a Melody since Kingdom (Many of their stages on that show were amazing.) and my Spotify playlists are all full of their b-sides because they're just that good. "The Song" (2022) (the one you made a kdrama scene for) is actually another love song to Melodies, who saw them through some very rough times. The song is so bittersweet because, although the whole group had just come back from a hiatus of 4 years due to military service, our Ilhoon left the group in 2020. Thanks for reacting to our Beats.
