    Hi Ben, I've been following you for a while now and also attended your skool for a while. You are doing such an amazing job.
    I couldn't believe it when I saw you are in India. I was in Puttaparthi in october for three weeks. The Ashram is an amazing place. When you want to meditate let someone show you the way to the Meditation Tree. That is such a magical place. It's within the Ashram, but just outside the main area. Sai baba placed copper plates under the tree. We went there each morning around 7.30am. The singing of the monks in the background and the sounds of nature... you will love it.
    When you are looking for a better hotel, go to Sree Parthi hotel. Just 5 minutes walk, still very affordable and very comfortable and reliable with lovely people who are also Sai Baba devotee's. I wish you an blessed stay. May you take in all the shakti.
    Ps; when I was in India I learned that mother Meera was there at the same time. Sadly we could not visite her. Hopefully next time.

      Thanks so much for this. I took your advice and meditated beside the meditation tree this morning - it’s exactly what I was looking for! Funnily enough, I was researching where another Meera was, and it turns out she’s in India at the moment and only about 2:30hrs away, so I may spend a couple of days with her. Appreciate your help 🙏

    Sai ram Ben, been going to Puttaparthi since I was a kid in the late 90s, early 2000s. Have a blissful time! Be sure to meditate and visit the Meditiation tree. It's on the way to the Univeristy administraive building. Not exactly inside the ashram premises but beside the local general hospital. The volunteers in the ashram wear blue or orange scarves, they will help with anything. Needless to say, go early or stay late and meditate in Sai Kulwant Hall where the morning and evening devotional singing is done. Amazing place.Grade 1 to PHD education, drinking water, general hospital and super specialty hospital all offered free and most importantly rendered with love. I am sure you have seen Mother Meeras discussion about Sathya Sai Baba! Sathya Sai left his body in 2011 but countless still get his guidance and feel his presence daily around the world.

As you say, you can certainly still feel Baba’s presence. Looking forward to meditating in the Sai Kulwant Hall this evening. Thanks again 🙂🙏

    Also this other palce in Punjab which focus a lot on meditation:
    Centuries old jungle outside village Maksudra district Ludhiana of Punjab, India was known as Dhakki. Sant Baba Darshan Singh Ji Khalsa consecrated Dhakki by mediation there for long time in 1986-87....

    Bless you Ben. Hope you have a good trip. I have read many concerning things about Sai Baba (there's a good vid on here showing sleight of hands etc) and as my spidey senses were tingling like mad over that Christian guy who claimed God was healing people's teeth and giving them gold fillings, so too my spidey senses are off the richter scale with his guy. Please be careful. 🙏

    • @bensmithreal
      @bensmithreal  10 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +3

      Thank you 🙏 Sai baba isn’t actually alive anymore, but I was still drawn to visit the ashram 🙂 I was aware of the various videos of sleight if hand etc. I don’t believe them myself - his teachings speak for themself. I think the so called miracles were to grab the attention of certain people. I think when you get as big as he was, 10s of millions of devotees, and you have these seemingly wild claims, you’re always going to face a big backlash. That’s my view anyway 🙂

    People from India meditate very less. There are very less places where they are quite and focused on their inner being. It is quite a waste of time , money and energy to travel to the most populous country for spiritual awakening but wishing you the best.

    • @bensmithreal
      @bensmithreal  12 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +3

      I wouldn’t say it’s a waste of time, energy & money, there’s still a very tangible and vibrant energy of the Divine here. It’s a great new experience, but in any case, I don’t need people to meditate with me, it’s just a surprise in honesty 🙏
