You could... role play that the german army is running low on fuel/equipment/manpower. Maybe just keep that single tiger you currently have. And if you lose it, you don't get to buy another one (it's precious equipment). Or maybe exchange tanks for pak40s. Or only have a small contingent of hetzer/stug3s (eg 3 units). If you don't enjoy tank destroyers, could just use p4Js. Reducing your anti-tank capabilities to mostly 7.5cm/48L = sufficient anti-tank but you won't always be able to win simply by shooting whatever you see in the horizon twice. Exchange the elite infantry for volksgrens or grenadiers (to reduce their health). Exchange the wirbelwind for drilling (to increase risk). And handicap your last 1-2 call ins (i.e. fill it completely with the most expensive units but you aren't allowed to use them) to roleplay that german army is being pushed back. This also has the benefit of reducing the amount of micro. How about it? Conquest gets more fun the later it gets... you're just about reaching the fun zone where the enemy field good tanks, but you're army power is way too strong.
