Thank you for sharing your process. I'm exploring this technique in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I hadn't thought of how cutting the clay affected the outcome. Now, I will be so confused when trying a checkered pattern :)

Thank you for your comment, it's fantastic! When making a checkered pattern in my pottery, I am sure to polish the surface of the pots with sandpaper before glazing. I don't know if other nerikomi potters do the same thing, but it does take a lot of time for me.😊

Για μία ακόμη φορά πολύ καλό αποτέλεσμα. Εντυπωσιακό στο καμίνι πρόσεξα ότι ο κώνος είναι τοποθετημένος σε ηλεκτρικό διακόπτη έτσι ώστε να σβήνει το καμίνι μόνο του. Ευχαριστώ πολύ για την παρουσίαση του video. Ευχές για υγεία. Kleanthis from Greece. 👍🏺

Ακριβώς. Η τοποθέτηση του κώνου στον κλίβανο ενεργοποιεί τη δύναμη του φούρνου. Στη συνέχεια ο φούρνος απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα μετά την επίτευξη μιας συγκεκριμένης θερμοκρασίας. Σας εύχομαι επίσης καλή υγεία, Kleanthis. Ευχαριστώ.
