My mum is such an amazing artist, she puts her heart and soul into the pieces she creates, thank you so much to Andrew & Julie for recognising and showcasing her talents. Such a wonderful film. You rock Mum! 🧡
I had no idea that any other creative people fell into a hole about what they create. I have made quilts for over 35 years . I have masses of fabric, all the tools I require and a collection of sewing machines. I've won prizes for my quilts but with 33 quilt tops waiting to be quilted, and family seeming to take my stuff for granted, I sometimes wonder why I bother. The ideas keep coming though and I just have to follow them. This has been a lovely and refreshing film and also enlightening for me personally. Thankyou.
Oh, Virginia - you have certainly hidden your amazing talents under a bushel. You are so talented in many fields; I admire you so much .... I wish that I had half of your imaginative abilities. Carry on with your dreams and inspirations that encourage so many people as well as seeing those come to fruition. Lots of love from Deb Hopper. Xxx
Lovely interview and truly an amazing artist in Virginia. The passion runs deep. So talented. Just love the organic flow of the isolation quilt and how it came to be created. So sorry about your family home Virginia. Hoping you get together with you family real soon. So Julie and Andrew, such a great interview and filming. You are all true artists in your own right. Keep creating.
What a beautiful journey she has had in this life. I believe that God the master Creator gave us a glimpse of what it is like to be a creator and to seek out the talents placed within us that we all possess. Perhaps to share with others to remind them of what each of us holds within ourselves, no matter our skill. We are created in His image. We all doubt ourselves at times but ignore those doubts, as they do not come from the Creator. Listen to that inner voice that keeps talking! Thank you Viriginia for your beautiful works and not straying from what God has given you to share with us and glorify Him. You are a blessing!
Thank you Julie for sharing this inspiring interview with such an amazing and talented woman, and thank you Virginia for your truth, you made me cry with happiness.
Beautiful and truly inspiring ❤ Lovely, amazing woman, she reminds me so much of my Mum...the world is so much brighter for creative, honest souls like Virginia how amazing and truly beautiful she is 🥰
Virginia physically reminds me of my grandmother, mouth, chin, lips, dark eyes. Grandma was an excellent quilter, she taught me to crochet when I was a child. I think I will have a “go” with my own creating. Virginia has inspired me.
Thank you so much for this inspiring interview, I just happened upon this, not sure how but I’m so pleased I did. It was lovely to hear such a creative soul passing on her stories I could have listened to Virginia for hours. And it was lovely to see you and hear your voice again Julie. Xx
No sé si el traductor automático es fiel a lo que dice el poema, aún así, me pareció una belleza. Dice mucho en cada una de las imágenes que va presentando. Muchas gracias por la entrevista. Saludos

My mum is a fantastically inspiring woman. Grateful to Julie & Andrew for documenting her passion, ability and stories so professionally.
Your mum is amazing! She made filming such a pleasure and there were times when I became so engrossed in her words I forgot I was actually filming!
Please tell your mom thank you for the interview! She has so much to share with others, I would love to know if she has been able to go back home yet.

Very much enjoyed listening to Virginia and have been inspired by her words of wisdom and encouragement to follow our own vision of creativity.
