*Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid. Very nice, in Boost Blue Pearl w/ the exterior black emblems that should come with the Sport trims. I would get it just like this, with Urban Grey Pearl as a second choice.
I own a '22 Civic Sport Touring Hatchback. Comparatively: I do not like the front end on the hybrid. The black of the grille extends to the inside and underside of the headlights, and I feel is a much better look. The side vents, however, are very sharp. I will say I do prefer my foglamps though. The engine confuses the hell out of me, but I guess it's cool. More powerful than mine, un-modified, and better fuel economy. I suppose I can't complain. I too am disappointed that my tailgate does not automatically lift. However, I found aftermarket kits to remedy that. What the hell are those rims?! Disgusting. I want my machine finished black split-spokes. Get that Hybrid/EV ugly rim garbage out of here, Honda. The additional speaker in the rear door is nice. Nothing dazzling about the interior, basically identical. The UI on the Infotainment screen is clean AF. I agree, with the "Prime Video," statement. IF the car is parked, you may access TH-cam, Prime, HULU, etc., as you are stationary, and can watch a movie on your screen. Make the Infotainment screen REALLY earn the 'tainment part. Hex grill across the entire dash is still sharp. Love it Rear of the vehicle looks nice. Lack of exhaust confuses me. Tiny brain like vroom vroom. I WILL replace those indicator and backup lights with LED though. Black badges are very clean on the blue paint. Spoiler is crap. Trunk is great, especially with the seats down. The all-weather protection mats are well worth the money. Spare Tire Gang FTW. I would CONSIDER trading up to the hybrid. Would depend how much they wanna give me on my trade-in. Wanna keep my monthly payments the same. Just bummed they could have done this when I was buying 3 years ago. I bought my '22 from a 2004. I feel the hybrid aspect would have made the change a little less bitter-sweet since everyone else at the time was doing Hybrid, except Honda it seems. All-in all, good looking car and impressive specs.
Great review! Got one in Platinum White Pearl two weeks ago....LOVE IT. My first hybrid, and I'm so glad I waited. Only thing I would tweak: Quieter cabin at highway speeds. Smooth surfaces, no problem. Concrete/textured roads and expansion joints intrude for sure. Different tires might help. Otherwise, A++, Honda! 🤍
I traded my 2024 integra for the civic hybrid hatch, in comparison, i feel the integra was straight trash and LOVE my civic hybrid hatch sport touring. I was gunna get the spoiler but looked amazing without it, so passed on that. It's mostly for aesthetic purposes. Now it does provide some downforce but it wouldn't be noticeable unless you are going crazy fast on a racetrack. Normal use it's just for looks
the isntall for it completely destroys the rear end of the vehicles, they drill 6, 4 inch wide holes through your panels and installed by the dealer, which means it'll be done wrong and you'll have tool marks and scratches in the sourrounding area.
The paddles are not a setting. They are for braking the car with the electric motor, it resets when you stop or accelerate. It also helps regenerate power to the drive batteries when in use.
@HobokenEscapee It should still have the room for the spare tire like the non Hybrid LX and Sport trim. You just need to get the other styrofoam? Piece under the hatch floor cover. They outfit the fix a flat kit and inflator to save space and weight for certain trims and models.
I got the 2025 Urban Grey less than a month ago and really love it. Over 13 years of Mazda loyalty every lease and one test drive and I was hooked!

Perhaps the car was running on battery power when you remotely started it which is why you couldn’t hear it

Spoilers actually adds drag and increase fuel consumption.

Different driving dynamics. Civic is more responsive, has a sporty feel, and nimble than a Camry.
