It looks like Alyssa didn’t have enough to hem the dress! 😉 And I have no problem with Alyssa commenting and joking about that. Might as well laugh about it. And I also feel that Alyssa would most likely not have done justice to the materials she had brought. So I’m glad Tessa was able to showcase them properly. But yeah, I felt for Nelly and how overwelming it must have been to work with the fabric. I’ve seen experience seamstresses bitch about it, and they were not in a pressure cooker situation and out of their comfort zone like Nelly was. I would have love to see Kitty work with it and see how she likes it, making the same silhouette she makes all the time, which is less than flattering cause her overall shape from the waist down isn’t the best or flattering. She could use some well-placed padding. And the hemlines are always off. Anyhow, I would have loved to see her struggle; but instead we watched her showcase her privileged attitude and obnoxious actions and commentary. And production is enabling that behaviour by giving her a hall pass at every turn, so she can continue to bless us with her mean girl energy. I’ve never seen someone do a worse 180 on their reputation on television like Kitty is doing this season. She was SO likable on UK3 & she insufferable this season.
My heart genuinely breaks for how the girls must have felt during filming this with the judging and critiques. I hope they are feeling all of the love and support now while its airing and that they know we all can see how much production & this season treated the non-English speaking queens like $hit 😥

I saw a comment last week which someone said that the US, UK and down under have higher viewership than the rest off the franchises and production thought that by keeping those queens in the competition no matter how bad they are (cough cough kitty) the audience will stick with the show. But they didn’t realise that the audience can see riggory and it’s spoiling the whole season now as it’s quite obvious favouritism is been shown to the bigger franchises than the smaller ones. To me that kind off makes sense why they are not being too harsh with the rugirls especially kitty

That being said, there’s no doubt in my mind that what Kitty said was in poor taste, uncalled for, etc. Now let’s give her the benefit of the doubt for a sec and say she was joking. It could have been the case. But somehow, with the delivery, it felt more like she was laughing at her rather than laugh with her. And Ru’s reaction validated Kitty’s mean girl energy; and most likely prevented Nelly from saying something about it.

That being said, there’s no doubt in my mind that what Kitty said was in poor taste, uncalled for, etc. Now let’s give her the benefit of the doubt for a sec and say she was joking. It could have been the case. But somehow, with the delivery, it felt more like she was laughing at her rather than laugh with her. And Ru’s reaction validated Kitty’s mean girl energy; and most likely prevented Nelly from saying something about it.

She is rubbing ppl the wrong way., but maybe I'm biased b/c I really didn't care for her on her season. I hope they have Global All Stars again, BUT make it a non-elimination season. Kitty started early on attacking her since episode one, and it smells like jealousy and entitlement, jealousy, because Nehellenia’s esthetic is very similar to Kitty but much more polished, entitlement, because she knows she is being favored because she was previously judged by Ru.
