I’m glad you had a go at a campervan. Everyone is different, & there needs are different. I travel everywhere in a 35 yr old VW Trakka T3 Syncro. Yeah it’s old, not comfortable , thirsty, slow, no power, & def not reliable. But every time I drive it I have the biggest smile on my face, & I’m happy. I couldn’t imagine towing a caravan around Aust. Keep up your good work as I love your channel 👍
As you explained, for so many towing a caravan or driving a large motorhome is not convenient beside the parking, weight and length limitations make it even more problematic. You compromise on space but as you explained so well these campers remove all those other problems. Driving down to shops is non issue as you generally don’t unpack much that needs to be put away and you will typically have your usual car at home when this needs to be serviced. Even use as a second car when you first one needs work. Great solution as you pointed out. Great video and detail.
Thanks Craig for covering alternatives for home away from homes. It certainly looked amazing and would be great for trips away. Enjoy your channel...take care
Nice review, we tried a motorhome and went back to a caravan. We like the space and option to get around in the car. But down the track a campervan may be an option especially a rear wheel drive.
That was an excellent review Craig, your knowledge during the review was great to listen too, really appreciate you mixing it up with campervans and caravans , thanks again for sharing , cheers Darrel 👍
Would be great for you to do a Motorhome review and include some touring experience especially how to cope without another vehicle to go to shops or visit tourist sites. We think a Motorhome would be great but have heard lots of negative’s.
@@darrinbrandon8792 we are doing a motor home early this year - I guess you need to be very organised to avoid having to pack up etc. I really enjoyed this camper van - completely different to what I expected! Thanks for your comment and HNY!
Great review. If you are going up a hill with front wheel drive and its losing traction, you can always let some air out of the front tryes for better grip.
I’ve often thought of this option. I can’t tow, it scares me. Great review.😊 I’d get the off road version with inverter. Then the cost is probably a tow vehicle and van combined in cost. They are expensive all decked out. Can you do a motorhome next?
@@ladysusanjane2682 inverter for sure - you can just about pull up anywhere to stop over so campground costs would have to be low to not much at all. I’m taking Tracey in a motor home shortly, good to see and feel the difference. This Campervan anyone could very comfortably drive. Thanks for your comment and good to hear from you!
We had no idea Tracey took off with the cruiser and the Zone..... Looks lush but why is it called a campervan? Seems more like a motorhome with shower/toilet/ heater etc.....
@@TA-wg9oi campervans are a van decked out inside, Motorhome is a chassis with a camper mounted onto it. We are taking a new Iveco Winnebago motor home out shortly! Tracey is capable of taking off with anything and everything at a moments notice haha.
Nah… No way to tour around after setting up camp or ducking off down to the shops. You’re left without wheels when dropping it off for a service etc. Will suit some but too many cons, not enough pros.

@@michaelpaff8773 thank you, I was amazed how good it was. I think I’d need some sort of roof rack to get all my toys on board (chain saw etc etc).
