Love this item, especially the really loud "Find my Phone" feature. I'm NOT loveing the non-rechargeable battery. However, the battery is good for 3 years, so it might be worth a try.
Planning on using this as a tracking device for my car incase of theft, does it alert the person that this is traveling along? I know the AirTag does that but does this?
Yes. All devices that are on the find my network has to have this antistalking feature. If you want to track your car, get an airtag and remove the speaker.
It can be detected by other iphones, if you leave them with the tracker for long enough. It’s part of the antistalking feature. Just remember to assign the tracker a category (assign it as a wallet) in the find my network to make it much less frequent.
hi Reid, apple actually added in a recent iOS update, the ability to share find my items with people (like air tags.) I share airtags we have on our dogs with my partner.
Mine is also full after 9 months or so maybe you got a Chinese knockoff 🤣, no but it should be longer than that. Unless you’re using it multiple times a day idk buddy
