Nothing can possibly beat the Atari 50 collection

Loved Atari 50! Did you see they just announced an arcade1up cabinet for Atari 50?

Picked up one of those CX-40 style joystick TV games from a thrift store years ago - spent ages blasting Asteroids and a lot of time on Missile Command. Yar's Revenge was fun too. Now want to try the Paddle one, if I can find one.

Thanks for the review. Looking into getting the joystick player at some point.

Thank you for watching! I appreciate it and hope you find one cheap! I'd check eBay.

I always found it funny that the joystick is the iconic Atari controller yet I think the paddle is better.

I'm super tempted to get the 2600+ so I can play Activision cartridges again. The price isn't bad, and I would probably get the paddle controllers too.

Yeah I definitely want to paddle controllers!

The 2600+ is a nice idea but the audience which is mostly old timers have already played these games to death for so long. They aren’t interesting enough to buy them for the 7th time.

That's fair. For me, I think it's worth it because I'd like to play my original Atari games again and my 2600 works only when it wants to.

I think the plus helps the newer generations keep the fun going for the next few decades as the collector’s market drives up original 2600 prices, not to mention ease of connection to our modern televisions.

    What brand are these paddles?

jakks TV games. Also says copyright Atari so idk if they endorsed them or if they just put Atari on there because they are made in China.
