How unfair to her character, she could have been really interesting, especially if they dropped all the racist bullshit and dumb inaccuracies

I think I have watched it that many times! And 2:13 - 2:25 as well! Van does an amazing job of capturing just the right expression of tenderness with Noah and it's such a contrast to the violence that comes a few moment's later.
Ohhh I just found a technical glitch. When they wake up Luke has his gloves on. But when Luke gets out of the truck to wave down the car he doesn't have his gloves on anymore, even though he just had them on when his arm was around Noah. (and I think the gloves reappear again, but I forgot)
Oh, and MY pet peeve is that they have Luke all by himself in the opening credits. It may be a contract issue with Jake: like only certain "tenured" actors get in the opening or something. But they should have Luke and Noah together in the opening!

my classmate wrote an essay about how frats are just like gangs. it was epic. and omg noah sleeping on lukes shoulder that was so CUTE!!! (no kissing scenes = overacts to what little action there is)
Came back for another viwing. Again such a lovely romantic scene in the beginning. The kisses, esp on nose. I guess they finally realise that more physical affectionate interaction is highly needed. So cute. It took me ages too to undersatnd what Luke meant by the "Old habits die hard" remark. Ameera i think is just in love with Noah. she had this vision that Col mayer wud welcome her as a daughter or daughter-in-law. I can't beleive her story. The colonel is such a hypocrite otherwise

It's the old "still under my roof" rule; and even if she said the word "permission," it's probably more a courtesy thing: like she would never say "no" just to let them know he planned to be out so they wouldn't worry.I'm 40 and have had my own home 20 years and my mom still worries when she calls my home late and I'm not there. :O
(I thought they were Noah's classmates from the shop)That was pretty realistic, the most realistic of the intense scenes of the show, especially when Luke was shot. We are coming to the end of Martha's time on the show. A massive loss....more proof that Goutman and TIIC should have left long ago. The didn't fully capitalize on L&N's popularity....and spent the last 9 months wasting massive amounts of time that could have been used to build up to a wonderful send off. What we got...them in a good place leading to their reunion is fine...but could have been so much better.
The sound effect of the crowbar hitting Noah's back was pretty lame. And how did Lily & Holden catch up to the boys so quickly...it took them about 45 seconds to get there! Other than that, though, this is a pretty cool episode. I like the interaction between Lily, Holden, Luke, Noah, and Ameera.
Well it is her SON and she's only known Noah for like, a few months? I mean, later on in their story together they all start to get worried about Noah, but right now he's still new to the equation especially with Lilly.

i hope the writers take note. the scenes between noah and luke in the car and in the hospital was so tender and sweet,two beautiful boys who belong together. dont mess their story up for them and for us fans please. just put this woman on a plane, i dont care where to, but the sooner the better
