Coyote's, raccoons which can be vicious if you have food, venomous snake, spiders & alligators as well as wild bobcats, deers, possums, wild boars etc. rarely black bears.
Forgot to mention the lizards & centipedes. My daughter was in girl scout & they have a camp with huts etc. when I came to pick her up she had her bags her friend hand & said open the door & don't stop til we're home😂

I'm not sure about the exact location/neighborhood that you mentioned.
Are there any animals to worry about when you’re camping? Do folks use tents in your part of the world?
Yes, tents are used too. You mainly see deers, don't think any dangerous animals come about (not 100% sure).
