Once, on a trip to Serbia, we've been pulled over for a quick inspection (documents, baggage, whatnot) at the border. After everything was done, my friend started up the car, and - totally unintentionally, I must add - this song began to play, pretty loudly. It was kind of embarassing for a moment, but when the border guard began to sing along, we were relieved. A few moments later, the staff on duty gave us a "salute" (raised their fists, in reference to the lyrics) and we've departed with this song blaring from the stereo. It was a funny experience, indeed.

Албанцев завезли в этот регион намеренно, и в 1990-е годы у людей во всей Восточной Европе начало путаться сознание. Тито уже при жизни гасил националистические тенденции отдельных национальных групп, потому что хотел сохранить сильную федеративную Югославию. Он сам был хорватом, но сумел сохранить единство в стране, где жили православные, протестанты и мусульмане. А потом жестокая война, хоть и рушились браки и целые семьи. Посмотрите, что сейчас происходит в Украине. Я думаю, это трагедия - обе эти войны. Польша как страна и другие страны Восточной Европы мало что могли здесь сказать. Мы интегрированы в западную экономическую и военную систему. А посмотрите, как выглядит флаг Косово - он вообще не соответствует флагам остальных республик. Искусственное создание. Кроме того, американцы устроили там военную базу и все. Они решили - будет новая (малая) республика и конец. Югославия была слишком сильной и слишком независимой. Сейчас идет борьба за влияние в Украине. А у украинцев кто-нибудь спрашивал, что они на самом деле думают? Они должны умереть и ослабить Россию. Славяне снова воюют со славянами. Tendencje i nastroje rusofobiczne w Polsce są smutne. Węgrzy też są rusofobami, ale nie dostarczają Ukrainie amunicji, czołgów i systemów artyleryjskich, co Polska czyni z wielką radością. Может быть, все не так плохо, как нам говорят политики! ;-) Я помогаю себе переводчиком, но с речью у меня лучше получается, потому что в начальной школе я выучил русский язык. Я твоего возраста. В то время нам не разрешали учить английский язык в нашем городе. Я немного говорю по-русски и по-немецки. Тогда было сказано, что мы должны выучить язык наших друзей (русский) и наших врагов (немецкий). В коридоре школы стоял бюст Ленина. Обычно ;-) Время от времени я организую польско-немецкие встречи. Я хотел организовать польско-немецко-русскую встречу. Я поговорил по телефону с российским консулом в Познани и начал искать контакты в Калининградской области. Но... это было в январе 2022 года. А потом в Украину полетели ракеты и y нac запретили даже упоминать о таких идеях. Мы помогаем украинцам из гуманитарных соображений (многие из восточной части, русскоязычные) и правительство (которое поддерживают около 30% польских граждан) подталкивает нас к международному конфликту. Пропаганда ненависти работает. Интересно, эти старые дедушки-политики, спорят с Россией, нападают на Германию, придираются к чехам... Они сошли с ума, в конце концов они уйдут или умрутоставив ужасный беспорядок. Просто так. My Father is Kosovar-Albanian. When his father and his brother visited us lately we were drinking some Slivovic in the evening and sometimes they talked serbian so i wouldn't understand them. I then sang this for fun and they stared to sing along with such passion. Also my grand-uncle, who still lives in his village in southern serbia, still has a picture of Tito in his living room. That's hillarious i actually have socialist ancestors.

To some, he was an Authoritarian Dictator whose crimes are simply hidden behind a Cult of Personality. To others, he was a Benevolent Dictator who held a region that actively refused to be united, even by the strongest of Empires. But to me, he is the Hero of Communism that we didn't deserve, but needed. A man who stood up to the Hegemony of the Soviet Union and Stalin's cruel methods, and who actively went out of his way to form relations with nations that were staunch anti-Communist. What a Man.

As an Italian I have to say that even though we lost territories because of Tito and many Italians were killed by him, I have deep respect for the yugoslavians for the way they managed with Tito to get full control of their territory, a significant position in the political games post WW2 and independence from Soviet Union. The man was really tough and so were his people, to the point that even Stalin was afraid of messing with Tito. On the other side Italy was very coward. First we followed Hitler, than we switched side and instead of supporting our people in Friuli Venezia Giulia who were killed by Tito or forced to leave, we blamed them for being fascists and treated them like fascist scam. After 20 years of taking orders from Hitler and Mussolini and be part of their crimes and plans, we basically reversed hate on a part of our population and let them took the entire blame for what happened in Italy for 20 years and for the horrors all Italians didn’t prevent to happen.

Tito was more Socialist than Communist. He did some bad things and fucked up in certain ways, but he did Yugoslavia well.

Албанцев завезли в этот регион намеренно, и в 1990-е годы у людей во всей Восточной Европе начало путаться сознание. Тито уже при жизни гасил националистические тенденции отдельных национальных групп, потому что хотел сохранить сильную федеративную Югославию. Он сам был хорватом, но сумел сохранить единство в стране, где жили православные, протестанты и мусульмане. А потом жестокая война, хоть и рушились браки и целые семьи. Посмотрите, что сейчас происходит в Украине. Я думаю, это трагедия - обе эти войны. Польша как страна и другие страны Восточной Европы мало что могли здесь сказать. Мы интегрированы в западную экономическую и военную систему. А посмотрите, как выглядит флаг Косово - он вообще не соответствует флагам остальных республик. Искусственное создание. Кроме того, американцы устроили там военную базу и все. Они решили - будет новая (малая) республика и конец. Югославия была слишком сильной и слишком независимой. Сейчас идет борьба за влияние в Украине. А у украинцев кто-нибудь спрашивал, что они на самом деле думают? Они должны умереть и ослабить Россию. Славяне снова воюют со славянами. Есть пословица: «Где двое дерутся, побеждает третий». К сожалению, это работает!

Может быть, все не так плохо, как нам говорят политики! ;-) Я помогаю себе переводчиком, но с речью у меня лучше получается, потому что в начальной школе я выучил русский язык. Я твоего возраста. В то время нам не разрешали учить английский язык в нашем городе. Я немного говорю по-русски и по-немецки. Тогда было сказано, что мы должны выучить язык наших друзей (русский) и наших врагов (немецкий). В коридоре школы стоял бюст Ленина. Обычно ;-)
Время от времени я организую польско-немецкие встречи. Я хотел организовать польско-немецко-русскую встречу. Я поговорил по телефону с российским консулом в Познани и начал искать контакты в Калининградской области. Но... это было в январе 2022 года. А потом в Украину полетели ракеты и y нac запретили даже упоминать о таких идеях. Мы помогаем украинцам из гуманитарных соображений (многие из восточной части, русскоязычные) и правительство (которое поддерживают около 30% польских граждан) подталкивает нас к международному конфликту. Пропаганда ненависти работает. Интересно, эти старые дедушки-политики, спорят с Россией, нападают на Германию, придираются к чехам... Они сошли с ума, в конце концов они уйдут или умрутоставив ужасный беспорядок. Просто так.

My Father is Kosovar-Albanian. When his father and his brother visited us lately we were drinking some Slivovic in the evening and sometimes they talked serbian so i wouldn't understand them. I then sang this for fun and they stared to sing along with such passion.

As an Italian I have to say that even though we lost territories because of Tito and many Italians were killed by him, I have deep respect for the yugoslavians for the way they managed with Tito to get full control of their territory, a significant position in the political games post WW2 and independence from Soviet Union.
The man was really tough and so were his people, to the point that even Stalin was afraid of messing with Tito.
On the other side Italy was very coward. First we followed Hitler, than we switched side and instead of supporting our people in Friuli Venezia Giulia who were killed by Tito or forced to leave, we blamed them for being fascists and treated them like fascist scam.
After 20 years of taking orders from Hitler and Mussolini and be part of their crimes and plans, we basically reversed hate on a part of our population and let them took the entire blame for what happened in Italy for 20 years and for the horrors all Italians didn’t prevent to happen.
