    I disagree with Shibukawa losing being a bad choice that happened only due to plot armor/hanma blood.
    Fighting isn't just about placing higher or lower on power level. I fully believe that in terms of "stats", both Doppo and Shibukawa placed above Jack at the time of this fight, however he had a disadvantage of his fighting style having no techniques to deal with bites, forcing him to improvise which while eventually succesful, wasn't good or rather quick enought to prevent leg injury. Subsequent blood loss plus lower mobility nullified Shibukawa's "stats" advantage, and all Jack had to do was find a way to counter the last defense Shibukawa was able to prepare.
    Later on in the series this kind of strategic approach goes out the way and it's all about placing higher or lower on "ridiculous feats" and "power level" scale, which is why this victory seems unearned compared to how fights go later in the series.
