I own like 5 of these! They aren't "pressure" washers, but they are awesome for hosing bugs (aphids, mealy bugs, spider mites, etc.) off of garden plants without hurting the plants. I have them on all of my hoses because they are great for watering and rinsing things off. They should change their marketing plan.
@@R4TeT - not really for what it does. As an avid gardener, I’ve tried other nozzles and this works differently. The pattern and pressure work great for plants. Hello Jeff, Stumbled on the product ad while tryiing to watch a video on TH-cam . Memory isn't that great anymore, so I dropped what I was doing to search for product reviews. From your demonstration, it didn't really seem to do much over a hoze nozzle. It reminded me of a product some 40 years ago that combined compressed air and water from a hose to create a stronger spray. Thanks for doing the review. Bill
OMG you just save my dollars.. I recommend my husband to buy turbo jet instead of power washer just to save money.. but after watching your video we are not going to buy this turbo jet as it’s not that we expect this much low pressure.. thanks for your honest review..
I picked up one of those a few months ago and finally had a chance to use it this weekend. I decided to hose down my entire house on saturday as the siding on the north side was covered with mildew, mold and green alge. I used LA Amazing cleaner, diluted 7/1 and sprayed the side I was working on as high as I could with my pump sprayer. I used my hose to blast away the dirt and it came pretty clean. This morning I decided to try the turbo nozzle I had bought. It worked pretty good, getting all the gunk off the siding and actually worked pretty well high up where I could not spray the cleaner. I'd give it an 8 of 10 for effectiveness. Hey, it only cost me $12.99 at Ollies in Md. PS I have pretty good water pressure at home.
The two main things that determine whether a pressure washer is any good is the litres of water it pumps through and the PSI. Without a pump, any of these things are just gimmicks. The videos you see of this type of nozzle cleaning driveways is likely highly bogus. I strongly suspect that they are cleaning it with a pump, ie proper pressure washer. If this is the case a class action should be launched against them.
I say mediocre at best, I accidentally touched a REAL pressure washer I was using at work and I cut my finger and needed to put some antiseptic and a bandage on. Yes, you can use one as a kind of a cutter. You can turn that into a real pressure hose if you attach it to a pressure washer it can be done. It has the correct gasket ring to fit just right. Oh and Jeff I subscribed to your channel I like your reviews. :)
It works perfect for a simple tip for you hose , you don't get wet. You don't have to run to the faucet to turn it off, but don't expect a prresure waser.
I use it and it’s been good. It’s not as strong as a power washer but I do like that it’s not that strong. I use it on my bicycles and I don’t have to worry about it stripping off paint. My bikes are expensive. I did use it on concrete to clean and it worked fine on that surface and they were very dirty. I think if you go in with the mind set that it is a “real power washer” that’s where you get disappointed. I actually use the fan more than anything. For $20 it does the jobs I need it to do. I don’t have the need to spend a lot of money on a power washer so this works for me, but everyone is different. One thing I also do is turn the water key all way for maximum water flow. That helps get the power I need. Still better than a spray gun, but that’s my personal opinion.
I felt quite sure that the product would not live up to its "as seen on TV" expectations. If this worked, the same results could be achieved with most hose end spray nozzles, which create pressure in the same manner and are much less expensive. I think this product is a dud. Thanks for showing it, though.
I planning on renting a pressure washer soon. I was hoping not have to with this but maybe not. We really need to clean all the grime and mildew, algae? off our vinyl picket fence. I’m nervous a pressure washer would damage the vinyl. It’s just plastic. Gets broken all the time usually from the weed wacker. We also need a pressure washer to clean the stones of the flower beds. Just trying to save money like everyone else. Maybe too good to be true?
Thanks for your review. To compare this simple wand to a powerful pressure washer is misleading. I bought this to clean my eves/gutters, windows and siding in conjunction with LA's Totally Awesome All Purpose Cleaner. It did a fantastic job and for old retired folks who do not want to spend a bundle of $$$ for a pressure washer + gas, oil and maintenance, this is a product worth buying for small around the home duties. Pressure washers can also damage the seals around windows if not used correctly.
Thank you, i was almost tricked into getting one. I’m going to stick with my low pressure washer from harbor freight😂 . The ads for this crap is definitely false advertising.
Would like to see this used with a 1 HP Wayne irrigation pump. I use this pump with just a sweeper nozzle, and it works pretty good for cleaning compacted debris out of gutters and blasting bug nests out of exterior window screen slots. Finding a simple sweeper nozzle with an on & off valve is not easy to do at Home Depot.

I keep seeing an Ad for this on Insta, one of the clips I saw briefly a professional petrol engine Jet washer in the background. There is no way the product could produce the power showed in the ad. Still I was curious so this review proved it's garbage thanks for the review
Greetings from Minnesota. I saw a pressure washer on tv that could run off a bucket of water and doesn't need a spickett and a long hose. You put the included hose in a bucket of water. There is some suction there and use the water from a bucket and from what I remember seeing it comes out relatively strong.. It would be perfect for apartment dwellers. Anyone tell me what you think. Have a great day everyone.
Only pressure is coming from your conventional garden hose. It's not pumped up high pressure like a pressure washer. Sad how so much false advertising survives and is not illegal. Thanks for the review!
this one was really frustrating to me, I really wanted it to work so I didnt have to lug out my pressure washer. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I don’t know why people can’t figure out that in order to have a pressure washer that powers out stains like they show in the ads, you need more than a special nozzle. From an engineering standpoint, you need an external pressure source to do anything more than what you could get from holding your thumb over the end of the hose. Also, if you pay more attention in the ads, you’ll see that every time something is being powered away, it’s NOT the advertised nozzle, but an actual power washer, which can be identified by the smaller hose attaching to the middle of the wand instead of the back, a trigger style activated handle, and a completely different tip. If you want a power washer, get a power washer. A nozzle alone will not help at all and you will have simply given more money to the Chinese scammers behind it.
@@Jeffreviews4u I saw that 🤙🏼 .. I was being inundated with ads .. and since I needed one, I was just getting ready to cha-ching 💰 purchase one, 💦 .. Thankfully, I YT’d your review .. good deal you tried it 👍🏼
I think I have much higher water pressure at my house. I can hose down planes that fly over head, but I have to put my finger over the end of the hose to make it do that.
Works okay, common sense you know it's not gonna be a pressure washer...I got it just to wash my car for the handle but the pocket hose has more pressure than this
Thank you for your effort. I suspected that was the case I had something similar and it acted the same way. I have a inexpensive electric plug-in pressure washer that's easy to carry around portable not heavy about the size of a playmate cooler that you would put a six pack of beer in. It does a good enough job for the small stuff and all I need is an electrical socket. I wish there was some way to get these companies to do honest advertisements but I understand they're trying to sell things. Good job I will subscribe to your channel
I didn't like mines either so I thought I'd come on here to check reviews and here it is, I can't even take mines back because I threw away the receipt 😩
This Turbo Jet for $20 I just bought at Home Depot. This is strong power when you have a good pressure in your lines. It can't remove gum from the ground, but this is powerful considering the size. It's good to wash your car, driveways, stairwells, and sidewalk. Trust me, it is strong and nearly detered from this video from buying it. It was only $20 so what gives. but if you need anything strong for stickier situations, get an electric or gas pressure washer!
If you watch the ad video, you will note that the device or nozzle used are actually from a regular power washer. Look at the handle, it does not look even close to this advertised jet nozzle. It is from a real power washer. I bought one and I think it is a scam and falsely advertised.
that doesn't make a lot of sense to me...I guess if you turn it off and turn it on you will get an initial burst but then it turns back to not working that well.
I think you you are either dreaming or imagining Chuck ! It expect it will work reasonably well on very small grass fires, with "very small" being the words to remember. As for "small engine fires" I suggest that you place the wonderful Turbo Jet on the ground and retire to a safe distance as you seem to be unaware that water and burning Petrol, Diesel and Engine Oil burn vigorously when they come in contact with water !
@@Peter-nv3wu no I have actually used one on grass fires and a couple of small engine fires but not with just regular water. I either use water mixed with dawn dish soap or fireice by gel tec. I've done my homework! Fireice by gel tec is my best mix with water and I've used it alot! No dreaming here! Look up fireice by gel tec videos on TH-cam I believe in this product. I've used it in a 5 gallon Indian backpack on many fires with good results including tire fires.
@@Peter-nv3wu it's just a different type of nozzle. I've used Hudson trombone sprayers and hand pump Indian backpack sprayers and also a 1940,s swiss fire pump on fire scenes imagine that! Out in the country and waiting upon arrival of trucks using gallons per minute to fight the fire is standard. But sometimes being first on scene or when the trucks can't get through the mud I've had to be a little outside of the box. I still have my 1940,s swiss fire pump on my fire trailer . but I do understand where your coming from! I use fire ice by gel tec in all of my extinguishers including garden sprayers that are modified to help fight fire. These are all just tools to help but are no means as effective as a brush truck or full size engine.
This was the first time in a very very long time that I'd bought something that was the absolute opposite of what the commercial presented it as. Do not buy this. Even my garden nozzle has more power than this. The Turbo Jet is a complete rip-off.

There is some suction there and use the water from a bucket and from what I remember seeing it comes out relatively strong.. It would be perfect for apartment dwellers. Anyone tell me what you think. Have a great day everyone.

@@Jeffreviews4u have you heard of a pressure washer like that?
@@davidurban6813 yes...I reviewed one like it not that long ago.
I used mine once with the jet attachment and did a decent job on the patio. Now I can’t turn iT on. Handle won’t move
what is threading for the nozzle? 1" or 1/2"? going to buy this for cleaning my brewing fermentor with different nozzle. thanks in advance! :)
My water jet leaks at the hose attachment. What is the washer configuration at the attachment
Don't see why the jet stream can't be used on tires? Seems like it could clean tires and BRAKES...
I don't think it has enough power to clean the tires.
I am glad I watched this video before buying this item.
Yeah, this one was pretty disappointing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
It would be awesome if they actually used their own equipment for their commercials.
seriously - this one was not as described!
Thanks!! I was just getting ready to purchase this ..soo glad I didn’t 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I like the idea...sadly it didn't do that well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u I saw that 🤙🏼 ..
I was being inundated with ads .. and since I needed one, I was just getting ready to cha-ching 💰 purchase one, 💦 .. Thankfully, I YT’d your review .. good deal you tried it 👍🏼
Happy to help! Thanks for checking it out.
Yeah i dbt that too.. without a compressor or any device that wont happen.. thank you sir, for saving my money...
Happy to help. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I think I have much higher water pressure at my house. I can hose down planes that fly over head, but I have to put my finger over the end of the hose to make it do that.
Is this product good enough to wet things ?
Lol...yes it can wet things.
Works okay, common sense you know it's not gonna be a pressure washer...I got it just to wash my car for the handle but the pocket hose has more pressure than this
Thank you for this video. I almost ordered one
Jeff do u know where I could get a back up nozzles?
I have not seen any that I can think of...if I see something I'll update the comment.
Great video. Thanks Brother
Happy to help. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Is there anything anyone has found to replace this, that actually works?
Nothing yet that would be of any power - aside from a pressure washer.
Hey I have this it works you just have to turn it off on the attachment for like 5 min and then go back and use it and it starts working good trust!!
It might be good for watering your plants.
Lol... that's about all I'd use it for. Ha. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
It’s a piece of junk. Shame on them for selling garbage to people. Thanks for the video.
It sure is... very disappointing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Yea i bought one and i was not happy either next time i will do reviews
Hahaha. I was sad with this product.
I didn't like mines either so I thought I'd come on here to check reviews and here it is, I can't even take mines back because I threw away the receipt 😩
Where did you get it from? Some places allow you to return it for store credit.
@@Jeffreviews4u Home Depot and I'll try and see if they'll give me a store credit
It will not attach to my garden hose??????? The threading does nor work! I tried it on thre hoses
Hello where does the hose goes connect
On one end there is a standard hose connection. The other end has the sprayer. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a great day and stay safe.
So would you definitely say this provides more pressure then just a normal sprayer for a garden hose?
If you watch the ad video, you will note that the device or nozzle used are actually from a regular power washer. Look at the handle, it does not look even close to this advertised jet nozzle. It is from a real power washer. I bought one and I think it is a scam and falsely advertised.
Where you connect that where the water come from?
One end has a hose connection. The other end sprays the water. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@Jeffreviews4u so the hose goes connect to the tap
@@safariapple1218 yes, there is no pressure washer machine with this...connect the hose from the tap to the Turbo Jet.
Hey I have this it works you just have to turn it off on the attachment for like 5 min and then go back and use it and it starts working good trust!!
Turn it off?
that doesn't make a lot of sense to me...I guess if you turn it off and turn it on you will get an initial burst but then it turns back to not working that well.
@wayne Westerfield..not sure...
I've used one for firefighting for several years now! Works well for grass fires and small engines
Probably not a good test for low well water pressure. His well water pressure is very low from what i saw
It's ok pressure but I did test on city water and it wasn't much different. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I think I'll still buy it. Right now all I have is a garden hose. I guess this is better than nothing
As a sprayer this will do fine...it's not a pressure washer. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Thanks for the review! I'll go get it this week! Stay safe and have a great day!
Thank you for the review. I almost wasted money as well.
I was really disappointed with this sprayer. Simply didn't do what it was supposed to do. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Maybe if you had a higher water pressure then maybe itll work.
I tried it on a city connection and had similar results. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
expected to see you fly like the commercial
Lol... you'd need a lot more power to make me fly. Haha. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
How about working on windows?
Ordered one sending it back!! Get my money back!!!
I too was disappointed with this item. Thanks for sharing.
I bought it and it sucks?
Yeah...I was disappointed in it as well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
