    I don't have sound in my headphones. I use Ableton 12. Ableton, lets me record, but I don't get sound in my headphones. I use a Scarlett 2i2.
    And... I hear some white noise(buzz). Why does that happen?
    And I don't know how to listen to music created in Ableton either

    Dude, I also once commented that this music has something soviet about it. Also as the Jewish holocaust has its music. For me this music should be in the next movie that deals with the current war between Russia and Ukraine. To me it expresses drama, terror, hope and in the end, chaos. This music has an incredible ending worthy of cinema. A hug from Buenos Aires, Argentina

      No. Use Tape simulators

    • @freeecountryy
      @freeecountryy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Absolutely. Tape plugins are great as well, but you can hit 1/4" tape in a way where it both compresses and slightly saturates the tape to give the track a really musical sound. I hesitate before using descriptions like "musical," or "warm," but there's no easy way to describe sound with words. I have a 2-track 1/4" tape machine that can run at both 15 and 7.5 ips, and I run mixes from Logic Pro into it and then back into the computer and sometimes it's exactly what I the track needed. Individual tracks like a synth lead, or a bassline will always sound different considering how hard you hit the tape, but read up about what analog tape at those two different speeds actually do to the sound. I haven't heard a plugin that really reacts like a well calibrated machine. I got mine for $175 and only put another $130 into it after getting it calibrated for modern tape, which there are 3 different manufacturers of today.
