- Tutankhamun was one of the most famous pharaohs of Ancient Egypt. He became pharaoh at a young age, and his brief reign is known for the restoration of Egyptian polytheism, and as a period of stability and prosperity. He became globally famous after the discovery of his tomb, still intact, which revealed incredible riches and ancient artifacts.

How many great kings would have come and gone in Egyptian history more powerful and capable but even Tutankhamun wouldn't have thought people would be remembering him after 1000s of years over those grate kings.
Despite the brevity of Tutankhamun's rule, his legacy has remained captivating down through the ages. This film does a wonderful job of summarizing the mysterious life of the youthful king, illuminating his remarkable voyage and the riddles surrounding his tomb. Amazing, eye-opening look at Egypt's illustrious past!
I believe Horemheb succeeded Ay not the other way around, Horemheb went further to wipe away Ay and Akhenaten's legacies. Great content!
Yeah I was about to say that. The narrator messed up that detail.
Sadly, from what I have heard: Tutankhamun suffered from a bone disorder as well as malaria due to a compromised physiology and immune system due to familial inbreeding. Because of that, he was quite sickly and weak.
I heared rumors he got assasinated with a bone in his head... most likely if he lived until 19 years old
0:00👍 Very good thinking with Knowledge building in history.
0:23 Really a boy to take The Throne of Egypt when he was 9 year old.
1:00 😍 Tutankhamun married his half sister became his wife.
1:42 😁 Wow the light shrine upon him. Counselors, Generals and Priests are with him with thinking Knowledge to build Egypt.
2:28 A man appear to three woman are talking. They see him now he's dead. They use bandages to cover his body like mummy.
3:32 He sitting his Egypt Throne room. They want him remove from the Throne. You know there are three person on wall picture from Ancient Egypt.
4:19 🤩 In many years a man see all golds and treasure.
👏👏 Wonderful story of The Brief Life of Pharaoh Tutankhamun in Ancient Egypt history! Now that was fantastic!
Completely messed up timeline - Ay become Pharaoh after Tutankhamun, not Horemheb. Horemheb took throne after Ay.
Hail to the Divine Tutankhamun!
Whats the name of this cult? This is my first time hearing about it
@@Whateverrr924 Cult in what sense?
They also forget tutankhamun and his queen where never able to produce a male heir they only able to produce two daughters who died before they were born and they were eventually buried with their father in his tomb
One of the most interesting families of all time.
Akhenaten's Curse happened, when Akhenaten outlawed the worship of the Egyptian Pantheon, the priests of Amun-Ra placed a curse on Akhenaten and his descendants including Tutankhamun, according to the Kane Chronicles
Make one on Cleopatra too!! In love with ur channel❤
She's awesome
@@WildMen4444 She was! 😍😍 Intelligent, educated and charismatic ruler 💖💖💖👸
He already did 😉 Just type name of channel and Cleopatra, it will show.
I’m guessing years of .. marriage to siblings didn’t help the family healthcare
That’s likely why his father died rather young for a pharaoh and why Tut’s two daughters were stillborn (they were entombed with him).
Ironic, his rise to fame was that he was so unremarkable that most tomb robbers just forgot about him.
Tutankhamen was a puppet pharaoh for the priests, who reestablished the old polytheistic religion, while also completely obliterating his father Akhenaten’s legacy. In fact, that’s why we know so much about his rebellious father & his monotheism, because in the priests’ erasing & burying his legacy, they ended up unwittingly preserving it for archaeologists to discover thousands of years later. Note though that Tutankhamen’s mother is NOT Nefertiti (a common mistake people make), but instead another sister of his father.
I honestly don't care if the priests told Him to do it. It was the right decision to return Egypt to Polytheism
@@WildMen4444 I very seriously doubt a 9 year old boy had any say in the matter. He had a choice: do what the priests told him, or end up dead like his father. Notice that his stepmother Nefertiti virtually vanishes from the historic record at approximately the same time her husband died, both of whom the priests reviled
@@dafttoolI'll say it again. I don't care what the priests told Him. The right decision was reached. I'm sure Tutankhamun doesn't mind that I am willing to give Him offerings of incense and beer for a decision He might not have had much say in. He was the guy in charge so I'm going with Him.
@@dafttool 'I very seriously doubt a 9 year old boy had any say in the matter.' - You are right, HOWEVER, he ruled for 10 years and after turning 15 he could well make decisions himself. Queen Hatshepsut probably became regent at 15. Cleopatra actively ruled as 18 year old. Tutankhamun passed between 18 and 20 - he was adult and second half of his reign could be HIS decisions.
Poor little Tut 😢
Good video thanks 👍🏻
Ah yes the ruler with the family "wreath"
The old life it’s so aowmeme
Cool
❤🤍💙 all your videos mate👍
Ma la tomba 🪦 e la mummia di Tutankhamon avevano una maledizione.
These lot look very very light for ancient north east Africans...
North Africans weren’t black in ancient times. You are conflating North Africans with sub-Saharan Africans.
Tutenstain, anyone?
Heard it’s getting rebooted
@@PhoenixMoth Me too
Ah, fellow folks of culture
@@PhoenixMothOh Gods I hope not. Every reboot is terrible these days
Tutankhamun played too many shadow games...and was slain into the shadow realm
I remember those who open his coffin ened having the caurse or death
Awesome and cool! ^_^
Wasn’t his older brother the ruler first but no one liked him
There was indeed mysterious ruler called Smenkhkare between Akhenatne and Tut, but wheter Smenkhkare was Tut's brother or some other relative is unknown. Smenkhkare vanishes from records very quickly, but wheter he/she was dethroned or passed from natural causes - and wheter he/she was liked or not - is currently unknown.
The thumbnail and entire video is so sad :((
If modern medicine existed we could saved Tutankhamun!
9 años tenia tremendo
I like how there r so many dynasties in Egypt, all of them just get a number except the ptolemies.😂
It's just easier to call that one the Ptolemaic dynasty though technically it can be called the 33rd. The Argead (32nd) and Roman (34th) dynasties are also usually not numbered
Tutankhamun died by Akhenaten's Curse
Um, please make a clip about the Harry Potter world
I dont care
that's unfortunate
Hail to the Divine Tutankhamun !
Hail!
Well met, fellow Polytheist
