    • @JohnFFox12
      @JohnFFox12 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They’ve said that back when they were hot they didn’t get a dime from tshirts , bandanas, no merchandise at all that didn’t come till years later for wrestlers and by then they had pretty much aged out by then. Ricky has said why he still wrestles today he still needs the paydays to survive. Even in the hottest time for the RnR express they were painfully under paid.

    • @joegreen268
      @joegreen268 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They did split up. More than once if I’m not mistaken. Ricky was usually the heel and Robert the baby face. I never thought Ricky would be able to get over as a heel but he pulled it off pretty good and of course the crowd would always accept him back as a babyface when he was ready to turn back. Probably why they used that dynamic. Ricky was better on the mic and could get heat on himself no problem. Robert wasn’t as good on the mic so he was the de facto babyface

    It’s why wrestling looks and feels so manufactured now.
    It’s not in any way real, doesn’t look real, feels scripted, zero psychology.
    None can work a crowd like the heels of yesterday, hate is just as important as having an over face, ppl pay to see the bad guy get his ass kicked, or the hero get his belt back….. Steven regal has seen it evolve from carnival days back in the uk.
