Hello, This is the best tutorial video I have ever seen. Beautifully explained every single doubt I had. Thanks a lot once again. Please help us with one more tutorial to make beaded round shape belt plz.
Hi Ms. Katie, I'm currently a stay home mom and would like to do something fun on my down time or quality time with my kids. I love how you take the time to teach us step by step and what we need to start. I'm your new subscriber. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. God bless.
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed the tutorial. Yes, I have other full bead bag tutorials on my channel that you might find interesting-feel free to check them out.
I really want to make this bag, your explanation is great! the glass beads (8mm) and fishing line (0.6) mm I can start like this.. but I can't get the bead to pull down. probably too thick wire. so I bought 4 other sizes of fishing line I just really can't do it. Either it is too thin, which makes the bag too weak, or I can get the bead down, but then my thread becomes too curly because I have to pull too hard. am I doing something wrong?
I usually make the bag first and then count how many beads I used. With experience, you’ll start to estimate how many beads are needed for different designs more easily😊
I am straggling with pulling the knot through the bead. After I put more strength the wire eventually breaks. Its feels like the hole inside bead is too small but I am using same as you. I have wire 0,6mm and beads 8mm.
My guess is that you use glass beads. In my case, I work with acrylic beads. With acrylic beads, I don’t face issues like the fishing line breaking or being unable to hide the knot inside the bead. Glass beads have much smaller holes, which requires using different materials for weaving with them. I have another video on my channel where I show how to work with glass/crystal beads.
I just begin to try this tutorial. Unfortunately it is difficult for me to hide the knot in the bead. Is it a problem? Thank you very much for everything! ❤️
And can you explain how to finish and start a thread in the first row? I didn't finish it and it has already ended but I am not sure how to do it with just one row
Hello! If you’re struggling to pull the knot through the bead, it could be that the bead’s hole is too small for the fishing line, or the bead is a standard size, but the line is too thick. For 8 mm beads, I recommend using a fishing line between 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm. The thicker the line, the tighter and more rigid your bag will be. If you’re using the same materials as I do in my video, just make sure to pull the knot tight.
Also in the video, I demonstrated how to finish the weaving. Follow the same steps to secure the row and hide the ends of the fishing line. 😊 Good luck 👍
I usually don’t have that issue. If the line doesn’t pass through the bead at least a second time, it’s best to either use a thinner line or slightly larger beads.
@@revelinescents Personally, I use 0.6 mm line with 8 mm acrylic beads. It's more than enough and bag perfectly holds its shape. Plus you're able to pass a line through the bead multiple times. But again, it's my way to work with beaded bags and these are my recommendations.
I've been watching a few different tutorials thinking it would make it clearer but now I'm more confused. With the other tutorial I watched they did the 3 bead's and crossed both strings through the 4th.
The technique I use, with the loop and knot, ensures the structure is more secure and stable, which is especially important for larger projects like a beaded bag. Crossing both strings through the 4th bead might work for smaller items, but for something like a bag that needs to carry weight, the loop-and-knot method prevents the beads from shifting and keeps the design tighter and more durable over time.
@candbdesigns Oh thank you for the response. I actually came to watch this before following your bead bag tutorial. I'm very excited to learn. I saw that you had a list of supplies in a crochet tutorial and it had the leather circles I have been looking for. I saw them used in bead weaving also. Thank you so much for the calibration.
The number of beads you’ll need depends on the size of your bag, but I recommend starting with at least 1,500 beads of 8mm for a practical size. This should comfortably fit essentials like a cell phone, a couple make up pieces and keys.
Hai injust watched ur video i am doing same as crystal beads 8mm one and .6mm finishing line but still my bag doesn't have tht fitness as yours pls help me here
Crystal beads and acrylic beads have different weight that is why 0.6 mm wire won't do the job and knotting method wouldn't fit as well ......use 0.7or 0.71 wire and make a bag without knot method just use the crossing method....I came across the fact very late .....the wire size matters ...ait should be according to the material you are using ..... INSHALLAH your problem would definitely be solved as mine got resolved ALHAMDULILLAH 😊
Hi😊 Round beads don’t have flat facets, so the connection between beads won’t be as strong as with faceted ones. You can tighten the fishing line more or pass it through the weave multiple times. However, a bag made from round beads will never be as rigid as one made from faceted or square beads.
This is so helpful video dear.....keep it up

How do I know how many beads i need ? Thank you 🙏🏽 🖤
I usually make the bag first and then count how many beads I used. With experience, you’ll start to estimate how many beads are needed for different designs more easily😊
Where can I get beads inexpensive or bulky? I see it is sold per quantity instead of pounds.
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
What to do after the short fishing line empty ?????

Can i use 6mm beads for 53 hole frame article??

What type of needle do you use to push the bead if the line cant pass through a second time?
I usually don’t have that issue. If the line doesn’t pass through the bead at least a second time, it’s best to either use a thinner line or slightly larger beads.
@candbdesigns it's usually sometimes difficult passing through the beaded that has the knot in it. I use .70 for 8mm to make the bag stiffer.

About how many beads does one purse take?

Hii I m doing same with 8mm pearl beads with 0.6mm fishing line but still my bag looks saggy and not stiff why???
Dear it's the same issue I m facing 😢

@@candbdesigns that's really a great info thanks alot
@@GulAzan No problem
How much beads does it require minimum
It depends on how big you want your bag to be, aprox half kilo for a small bag.
👍 thank you so much for this tutorial video you are the best bag beads trainer 🪻💜
