SHARING OUR DREAM WITH YOU
This channel is all about the adventures, hard work, and farm lifestyle chosen by two city kids who wanted live the dream of modern farming, while preserving the quality of life found in traditional home cooking and living off the land.
Nestled in the fertile, mountain valleys of Utah, Ballerina Farm is named after Hannah, a former Miss New York City and graduate of the Juilliard School of Dance. Daniel is a history major and now holds his MBA to guide the ever-growing business. The children are wild, hardworking, and homeschooled by their mother as they learn to farm, rodeo, dance, and grow barefoot and free.

People spend 30k+ on a bag and no one bats an eye, but on a stove and people go mad.
Haha or people putting cars they can’t afford on payment programs
Didn’t she even say they bought it used and it was 30 years old. I am 99 percent positive she said that. It’s ridiculous that people make a big deal out of it anyway, or take the time to look it up.
Right! The stove is absolutely worth it. The absolute joy from feeding your family and knowing theyre taken care of in that way is worth all the money in the world.
Well said, there are so many people on the social media showing off their wealth in the most useless ways. These two have created something useful and productive.
So true !
Don't let anyone dim your light. Keep going. My parents raised ten smart kids with great leadership skills on a farm in Alabama.
💕 That is awesome! I love that they have so many children. They have each other to help take care of each other.
“She dreams of the farms, and I build them.” Hogfathering has the sweetest soul ❤
girl i love how your husband talks about you .. he respects you and your mind !!! bravo daniel
Thank you so much!!
Always such a privilege when you let us into your home. Thank you both. You're such an inspiring, dynamic couple - great role models.
Thank you so much! 😊🙏
@@TheBallerinaFarm I'm also raised in a big family in a small island village by loving parents... We also ran away as we grew up for school... After 12 years of cities, came back, me and my husband decided to live here we are newly married... I think more and more people seem to realise that family and smaller simple life led with gratitude and faith is the answer. Thank you for sharing your story!
Yes indeed
@@TheBallerinaFarm 💕 Love that you are both allowing the Lord decide, how many children you have. You are wonderful examples of how families, should interact with each other 🕊️🌿
I love your AGA cooker and it's so rare to see them these days! I sold AGA cookers in North America for several years, and still cook with one (Claret color) that was installed new in 1997 and it's still running strong. But yours is older than mine! One year I earned the title of North America's #1 AGA cooker sales person for selling the most new cookers. They were built to last a lifetime and then some. People invest in them knowing that the stove will outlive them, and they will never have to replace it.
Yes, AGA was not the easiest company to work with, though the traditional AGA is a workhorse and I loved selling them because I was sold on it myself! And yes, even though the AGA is forgiving (I cooked a pie over an hour and it was still okay), I used to bake by smell. That's not possible with the AGA. The general rule of thumb I used to tell new AGA owners was to check whatever you're cooking in about 1/2 the normal time. Chances are it won't be done, but that will help you determine how much longer to cook it.
One lady in California who baked every day told me that her gas bill actually decreased after her AGA installation because with the AGA, there's no preheating, it's always ready, as you stated. She had to preheat her Wolf stove every day to bake, which is why the Wolf consumed more gas than the AGA.
It hurts me when people are mean to Hannah! This family is precious. Everyone should have learned something about the stove drama. People just make up untrue things to be mean.
It's so amazing that you have 7 brothers Hannah and Daniel has 7 sisters! Children are such a blessing.
7 brides for 7 brothers 😅
@@jeannieplett878 lol
One aspect that I’d love to hear you talk more about is how the kids are cared for. How much help do you have? When you’re filming videos like this, what are they doing? You do homeschool? How do you manage that along with all of the food preparation and the daily cleaning? Just really fascinating to try to understand how the family operates
If I'm not mistaken she says she doesn't have nannies, but they do have housekeepers and private teachers.
I have 8 kids and I cook, clean and everything else. 😅
In the video she says they homeschool
@@victoriaboyko4088 wow, that's a LOT of kiddos.
@@justmissjameyyes it is.. 🙈 I always wanted a big family and they bring so much joy🥰 I wouldn’t have it any other way.. 😊God is good 🙏🏼
How beautiful you accepted all the children God has given to you. Its such a lovely way to live
That stove was a great investment. I bet you will never need a new stove. I really enjoy seeing how you both work together
12K is a steal for that beautiful stove and well worth it! Thank you for this Q&A. It is always easy for others to sit back and believe that everything is handed to someone who has success in life. I love the story Daniel told of his family sitting at the dinner table and it was common for them to talk about business and how it works. Just on a side note, I ordered a Ballerina Farm meat box for my husband for Christmas last year and everything was delicious! Even the pastries and cookies. Oh my! That will be a tradition, for sure. I would subscribe, but we live rural and are blessed to have a nice mennonite meat farm nearby where we purchase our meat.
Sweetness & wisdom through and through! Love your content and your sweet family.♥
Also, raising healthy happy whole children is the best thing you can offer to better the world! They are the future!
God bless Daniel and Hannah. They have a stove to feed their children. Praise God for the new Dairy and the fact that both Daniel and Hannah come from loving large families that are members of a loving Church family. This family does the best they can educating their children and expanding their business. When the world feels like judging, please pray to God "World" that all might be more loving towards this family. ❤
Hannah, you are such an inspiration to me as a homemaker and wife. I can see what a biblical wife you are in the way you speak to Daniel and how connected you two are. I love how relaxed you are with the children. It truly is admirable and a great reminder when I am overwhelmed with my day to day as a mom and wife.
You both have a very inspiring story. I appreciate how Daniel explained that growing up, talks around the dinner table were about how to start a business, etc. We desperately need to become more entrepreneurial minded here in America. That's what built our nation. We have become such a consumer society, relying on everything being imported. Local businesses are the backbone of communities. You guys are doing a great job! Forget about the drama people. 😊 ❤
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We have similar values about family and believe in the divine role of motherhood. It doesn’t mean women can’t do other things of course but I am beyond grateful for a fellow Christian stating what he believes. This country was founded on freedom of religion and its tragic people of faith are being ridiculed in today’s society. Thank you for your example and strength Harrison. God bless you.
What an amazing hard working couple!
Worth to watch! Did not know what to think about Ballerina Farm, the creator, Misses World, etc. but open to hearing the story behind it.
It shows married people working together on building their family, home, and business. It sounds humble, reflective, honest, and very natural.
And they talk with and to each other in such a loving way. Also, the comment about how many kids and why answered with Kids can change the world and community to the better...
Seeing, and hearing all that makes me wanna see where your journey together goes, and wishing you and all the best in life!
What a thoughtful comment. Thank you!
It’s a shame that they feel embarrassed for their privilege 😢 like - their families worked for it! They worked for it! What’s not to love about that? I love a millionaire who spends their money farming and buying a fine ass stove to feed their family! People forget what actual people do with fortune - and this is the most noble out of all!! She’s my idol!
Yes this!! So what that they have money, they're building generational wealth in my opinion and I think that's beautiful. If I had money like they do, I'd live my life the same as them. I think this is more rich then driving in nice cars living in a too large of a home, etc. Although, I'd definitely have a pool. Lol.
They fact they pretend to be normal shows us they are ashamed of their privilege
@@70sGal they paid almost 3 million for the farm.duh
@@isabellavalencia8026”Pretend” to be normal? They are normal. How should they be acting?
@@isabellavalencia8026owning a multi acre farm and being able to own a business isn’t “normal” they show their wealth. Just in a way that is tasteful and in a way people don’t really realize unless they already know how expensive things actually are. Also they’re people. Not matter how much money people have or don’t have they will always just be people
Love the Aga! You certainly don't need to justify your decision. Lovely.
I love how honest they are, God has blessed them with the fruit of his Spirit
You are very nice folks. Keep on with what you do and have us enjoy your travels in life.
Thank you so much!
This is my favorite family, and its an inspiration for me and my dauger. Thank you so much for the faith, for the hard work , and all love that you share us.
I don’t understand the drama around your stove. It was expensive, so what ?! Why do people get mad about others person business ? If I had the money I would buy one for myself ! Enjoy it, love your video ❤
True. Even if they buy 50k+ stove, that’s their own money and they’re rich. We dont question people with 45k+ car with a salary rate of 16/hr. How much more this couple whom obviously could afford it.
👍👍👍

Absolutely LOVED this. I HOPE that you guys upload more Q&As like this. Really helps people see the real people behind the business and debunks a lot of misconceptions and false news people churn up in their minds. Also how real you guys are for continuing the interview with the flies and the kids coming in and out of the frame-no sugar coating. Would love to see more of this!!!
You two have such an amazing energy between you. You can see right away why you work so well together, have such a big family, successful business & a growing following; you're quite enchanting!
I just can't understand understand the drama about your stove and your backgrounds, I know it comes from jealousy and even hate, that is so sad. You too are amazing wonderful husband, wife, mom, dad, believers and followers of God and His Son. This was great to watch and see. By the way your stove is awesome! I love/enjoy watching all of you cook with it. You both are so real, wonderful and honest, we love you. ❤
That’s so nice! Thank you!
@@TheBallerinaFarm Thank you and you are welcome. I just reread what I typed, I'm sorry for the double word, the misspelling of 'Two' I was typing too fast and didn't proof read. :)
(116) They say, "Allāh has taken a son." Exalted is He![38] Rather, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are devoutly obedient to Him,
[38]- Subḥānahu means "far exalted is He above all they falsely attribute to Him."

This was so fascinating and candid. I like how you both don’t act too proud or full of yourselves- very humble people.

I have three adult same age sons - age 30. One is with me 24/7 due to his severe disabilities. I can’t lie- I can’t do it all. I barely have time to cook my son needs so much care. My husband is a roofer - and if he gets cereal with milk for dinner -he’s happy. I can’t lie - it seems as if you have a perfect life. I wonder what I did or am doing wrong? Healing from two broken legs and a shattered kneecap to keep my son safe (from running outside in parking lot) long story. I take life one day at a time. I used to be so jealous- what can I do better? I’ve come to realize that this is what I was given in my life. My son is my hero. He teaches me a different way to life!!!!! I couldn’t watch your shorts on if they would make me cry. Now- I enjoy your videos and wish you and your beautiful family a lifetime of happiness. That is what is most important!!!!! Everyone has their own crosses to bear. Not all are the same or even seen. I appreciate everything you have to share. ❤
I just today ordered your sourdough starter because you have truly inspired me lol I was raised Mormon and my mom did all the things and tried to teach us but we had no interest but now at 56 I’m so into sourdough and I moved to the country and got 30 chickens and two acres to start lol Ty for being such a great inspiration to others!! God bless 🙏
Wonderful!!
I thought I was too old to start in the country, by reading your comment I have faith I still have time, thank you for sharing. ❤🇨🇦
Sourdough is so fun and you can make so many different things with it!! I was able to completely eliminate buying any breads, pastries, cookies, etc from the store with my Sourdough. Hope you enjoy it!
That is my dream. I’ve been born and raised a city girl but we moved to the suburbs some years ago, very close to farm land. We only have too many dogs and cats at the moment, but my dream is to move to a farm and you give me that hope. Once my 2 kids graduate in a few years and out of the house, I hope to settle into farm life, maybe some chickens, goats & alpacas!!
I was around from you’re late night lives a couple years ago. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into your home. Y’all are truly an inspiration!
