The water runs towards the front and behind the window into the wall making the 1 piece fiberglass roof..... pointless. I just looked at one today... Brand new on the lot. Salesman acted like they didn't know it was leaking even though they took the mattress out because, I assume, it was ruined too judging by the water marks on the wood under the mattress. Front windows need to go away.

Back in the 70's and 80's ,front wall windows were popular but aged poorly. They went away until customers demanded them back. As a dealership, we take the time to inspect all the trailers arriving from the manufacturers just in case they missed on the caulking. The front windows are all inspected and touch-up is done as required to satisfy our own standards. We know it is an area that can cause trouble just like it was back in the old days. However, one of the difference between those days and today is that the front windows are more like windshield and secure to the wall differently that they were making them a bit more waterproof. Of course, like any other window on a trailer, they can still give you trouble. We strongly suggest you take the time to inspect all the caulking twice a year...at least! and trouble area like the 4 corners and the front window should be looked at during the camping season.
