So I tried to make these swaps unique. There will be some more obvious ones like tote bags, a reusable water bottle etc. but there will also be bigger concepts mentioned (like borrowing as a means to reduce waste) to further empower you in mastering your zero waste badassery. Enjoy!! And please feel free to leave some swaps you love in the comments to inspire others.
Ok so I changed over to a wood brush a few years ago because I have fine hair and I find that I have less split ends when using a wood brush, I think its because the prongs are thicker. Also I so wish more people would use a water bottle. You would save so much money by just filling it up as you go. My kids school lets all the kids (preschool-8th) bring there own water bottle and they have a filling station for them too, so much better than juice and soda.
I bought a bike from my local bike shop and the owner helped me find a basket that would work for my bike and my needs (purse and groceries) and whenever I have any issues with my bike, I can just bring it back and he will help me fix it. usually for free unless it needs new parts. Also, buying the bike there instead of from, say, Walmart, means you support a local business
You know what I like organic coconut oil to remove your makeup as a moisturizer as a primer to pull your makeup it just feels so good it feels better than this using my other stuff in the store so harsh on your skin I was using Nivea crap but it has Nivea creme has vegetable or something in it to remove your makeup by use coconut oil today cuz I wanted to see if it'll work and I actually like it better than a regular face cream
mm do the DIY deodorant work for people that sweat a lot? I was thinking about doing this but my husband, I swear, he can't use just anything, it is BAD! Also, does your clothes get a weird color?
we need a global app with a refill map, please! there's so many eating places that pressure to buy water and don't offer tap water and it's really hard :'(

That is completely okay dear you're health is most important! You get what you feel most comfortable with no one wants you to get something that would potentially hinder your recovery. Take your time to get better, I hope things work out for you and you have a good day today, tomorrow and weeks to come [=
Where are you located? It's probably due to the weight and distance. I don't actually make the pricing for shipping, our store website is directly connected to the USPS. I don't make any money off of shipping. If the pricing for the kit however is out of your budget we are happy to work with you-- just shoot us an email info@zerowastekit.org.

You can also make tea using the french press. It will strain out the tea leaves for you.

That's okay babe!!! Take care of yourself. Be gentle
Why shipping for zero waste kit (which is unreasonable expensive) is $10.00! Overpriced. C'mon don't be greedy.
