Thank you very much! 😍
Thank you 🙏🙏👍👍
9:50 - Those iridescent colors are incredible.
I agree with you! 👍
Все как обычно очень круто! Продолжай в том же духе!
Благодарю!
Buy a resin printer, make the model and go straight to making the mold. Save yourself a ton of work and money on supplies. After a couple of models the returns on savings will pay for the printer. The quality will be better and you will become so lazy you will never go back FDM printing. You will give it as a present to your nephew. Everyone wins.
As soon as I have the opportunity I will definitely buy it
Couldnt find anyhtong on using a resin printed model for a mold. What is the process of it?
@@monsieurLDN should be exactly the same, only a lot more precise.
As someone who got a resin printer before an FDM printer, there are still a lot of practical uses to FDM, outside of decorative stuff like this.
correct me, but as i know slicon cant curing in resin mold, so you have do more extra work (or much expensive silicon), not just straight to be mold
Could the be used for a banana shaped object with ribs along its length?
Sorry, I didn't quite understand your question
One man production cat 🎉
This great and very inspirational. What is the best silicon for this sort of work?
Thank you very much! Silicone can be used of any brand with a hardness of 20 or 30 shore units.
The entrapped air release holes and pegs - very cunning! The kinetic sand for the masked areas looks really promising on my own projects. I need to fill areas .25 of a mil across by .7 of a mil deep, though. As well as remove the masking material from the silicone afterwards.
Perhaps kinetic sand and a magnifying glass is the way to go.
I need to avoid the feathery edge left if I pour in a liquid filler. It always pulls back (down) slightly from the surface of the master.
It seems to me that kinetic sand is not suitable for such sizes, plasticine is better.
@DoasIDo2 Thanks for your experienced and considered reply. In the UK we have Chavant. It's a heavy duty modelling plasticine, so I'll go with that.
I believe it has to be sulphur free plasticine to be compatible with silicone.
@Acheiropoietos I think Chavant is advertised as being sulphur free - but I will double check. Thanks for the heads up.
❤
Another awesome video I’m curious I have a resin 3d printer would the process be the same or would I need a silicon with a tougher hardness rating to make a copy I’d love to see a video on this also u got a sub from me
Thank you very much! A resin 3D printer would be even better. You won't have to process the master model so carefully.
красота) а что за краска в конце используется под металик?
Спасибо! Это краска хамелеон
This is so amazing, one question, because this is material what it is, is it durable, if you sell them, aren't they going to be damaged during shipping? Amazing work btw. Thanks.
Thank you very much! This material, after drying, is a bit like ceramics. If you hit it hard enough, it will crack.
If you squint its something else
I don't see anything else
Печать из ABS с последующей ацетоновой баней, сэкономит уйму времени и сил.
Could’ve made a jacket mold and used less silicone instead of a flood mold , also if you’re doing a flood mold on something that small , you could pour it in one lump and cut it open afterwards, make the cuts jagged and you e got your location sorted.
Thanks a lot for the advice!👍
Could have just used cura as a slicer and loaded up an object with the mold option on and just 3d print the mold
You /want/ to sand with projects like this. You can cut corners the way you suggest, but it will lead to an inferior result that will come out on every piece you make. Better to perfect one model and then mold it with silicone so you can use it MANY times over.
@@TheNerdArmory one thing I have done to cut back on sanding is to layer on 3d resin with a brush. Put it under uv. Rinse repeat. Just an idear
How long takes it till you have to change the ventilator? Without protection it gets so fast paint on the surface that it will get sooner broken than normal.
My fan is completely metal and is easy to clean from paint. I clean it once a month.
k this may be dum to some people but my last model i made i did the filling differently becus moste filler primers do a really bad job at filling the layerlines this was my step by step: light sand to make it a little bit smoother then a tick varnish let it cure sand and then again a thick varnish after that it was just wet polish the model with a 1000grid and it was ready for paint maby an idea for next time
Thank you very much for the advice, I'll try to do like you!👍👍👍
This cat jajaja
Why did you spray silicone removing spray before putting the putty on and again before painting? Shouldn't you only put that on before the mold?
For better adhesion
Why not make a reverse mold from the original in the 3d modeling software and then 3d print the mold?
I do not know how to do it. Can you give me a link to a TH-cam video so I can see how it's done? Thank you!
Hello. And what is the name of your 3d printer
Hello! I have a 3D printer: Original Prusa i3 MK3S
¿Porque no imprimir el molde en TPU de una vez?
¡Es una buena idea, no pensé en eso! ¡Muchas gracias!
@@DoasIDo2 Porfa hazlo y grabalo jeje he buscado videos al respecto xq me interesa hacerlo pero no he hallado mucha información y aún soy muy novata y no me he atrevido a hacerlo pero si tú puedes agradecería ese material xq siempre he pensado que por su flexibilidad sería una buena idea
Definitivamente grabaré un video sobre este tema. ¡Es realmente interesante!
@@DoasIDo2 Lo estaré esperando :D
I thought this was a sex toy
🤣
You spent TON of money.
