Indeed, under the Tories, that was the case. They basically just put asylum-seekers in to storage at our expense, and they were not allowed to work. Labour have begun processing them, and some have been sent back to their country of origin, and other asylum claimants have been successful, meaning that they can now get jobs and start contributing/paying tax etc.

Public Sector Finacial Liabilities and the other Public Sector Net Worth.

The amount spent on debt interest went from approx. £30bn a year to over £100bn because of borrowing during the pandemic to fund furlough this is leading to the requirement to cut £70bn a year from other areas. People do not understand that we are paying the price for furlough now.

Indeed, under the Tories, that was the case. They basically just put asylum-seekers in to storage at our expense, and they were not allowed to work. Labour have begun processing them, and some have been sent back to their country of origin, and other asylum claimants have been successful, meaning that they can now get jobs and start contributing/paying tax etc.
Much as I despise Hunt (with a C), I fear he is correct in this.

Big swing there from OBR to the 4th set of figures of 90 Billion. Using the 4th Set of figures comes with Big Risks of Damaging the Economy and can Create Inflation plus Unemployment increase. That Reeves Fiscal Rule Change using the 4th Set of Calculations. The other sets of figures mentioned are based on reports from. Public Sector Net Debt. Public Sector Finacial Liabilities and the other Public Sector Net Worth.
