Not OP but I played through Gens 1-5 on their release and Cynthia is easily the best champion of them. Sinnoh might be the best dex too imo, but Unova has a lot of crazy shit.
Seeing him trash talk Cynthia and then getting absolutely destroyed has to be one of the most satisfy thing things I've ever seen. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl existed in a time when Let's Plays were not common, so I'm ecstatic that for the remakes, we can capture these iconic reactions in beautiful 4K for all of posterity.
A lot of the major fights in this game have been boosted hella hard to the point that the only chance people seem to have is with the exp share and friendship mechanic. It seems without those two, players wouldn't stand a chance in most cases.

Oh the the opposite of the SMT difficulty curve. Where the beginning is balls hard and the first boss will destroy you, and the rest of the game is smooth sailing, especially end game where you are just as overpowered as your enemies (if not more).

Outside of Roms this is probably the best elite 4/champ gauntlet that they put in a game. Figured it’s not gamefreak lol. Actual stats used, especially Cynthia/flint with that minimize baton pass bs

He had 4 Pokémon and had a normal play through and he is STILL under leveled. The only bad exp share was 6th gen because it was balanced wrong. The rest are necessary because without it you would be under leveled and would HAVE to grind

Actually, the battle still would’ve been challenging to an extent. Most people who fought each individual trainer to gain as much as exp as possible still were struggling against Cynthia. Most of them relied heavily on items & revives to pull the W. And then there’s Cynthia’s rematch team who are uhh…Let’s just say much scarier.

Cynthia is the only champion I consistently have problems defeating. I have some problems with Steven but no where near as much with Cynthia. Lance, gen 5s, 6a, 7s and 8s champions were actually easy for me
For the record the ONLY game to do that was Black and White 2. Challenge Mode gives the E4 6 Mons all with competitive sets and items. They even have an easy mode.

Funny enough for my battle with the League, the only two Pokémon that gave me trouble were Cynthia’s Milotic, thick ass Gastrodon and Bertha’s Quagsire. I don’t get why people sleep on Grass types when Water/Ground is the scariest fucking typing in the franchise.

Actually, the battle still would’ve been challenging to an extent. Most people who fought each individual trainer to gain as much as exp as possible still were struggling against Cynthia. Most of them relied heavily on items & revives to pull the W.
And then there’s Cynthia’s rematch team who are uhh…Let’s just say much scarier.

Cynthia is the only champion I consistently have problems defeating. I have some problems with Steven but no where near as much with Cynthia. Lance, gen 5s, 6a, 7s and 8s champions were actually easy for me

For the record the ONLY game to do that was Black and White 2. Challenge Mode gives the E4 6 Mons all with competitive sets and items. They even have an easy mode.
