I completely agree! Neil Newbon's voice is incredibly soothing. It adds a unique and calming quality to whatever he's involved in. Whether it's narration, character dialogue, or any other context, his voice is truly a standout. It's one of those voices that just draws you in and enhances the overall experience. A true testament to his talent !!!! ❤❤❤❤
Neil Newbon and his crew are so cool for establishing such academy cause it is truly future of acting and entertainment! Also great to have teacher that actually works currently in this career space! Love Neil's work❤
It's been so wonderful to watch Neil flourish over the years. He's such a gem. Can't wait to see what he does next. (Please let it be a headspace/calm kind if thing. I'm begging! 🙏)
After 300 hours on BG3, I really need to replay D:BH because of Neil. Detroit was one of the most immersive games I've ever played, fully hooked on all of the 3 main character's storylines + the amazing side characters. Not to mention the smooth mocap animations that was mind-blowing to me back in 2018.
I'd really love to be part of this, with a teacher like Neil it would be even a bigger pleasure, he's an inspiration. Pity there's nothing similar in Spain... yet!
I love they are doing these programs in Europe. Growing up in a poored european coutry, working in videogames is the kind of job that I was never aware was a possibility until like 5-10 years ago. I think that if I had been born later I would be involved in videogame development today. Glad to think young people now have more means to get into it.
Absolutely LOVED Detroit: Become human. You guys did such a great job on every level with that game. Replayed it 5 times for different outcomes and always learned something new.
Participants likely had the opportunity to learn from Neil Newbon's expertise, gaining insights into the techniques and skills required for delivering compelling performances within the context of video game development. The event at Quantic Dream, known for its innovative approach to storytelling and performance in games like Detroit: Become Human, suggests a focus on pushing the boundaries of narrative and character portrayal in the gaming medium. Attendees would have had a unique chance to explore the art and craft of performance capture under the guidance of a seasoned professional like Neil Newbon. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You do awesome Work! Stay on this path. I really would've Loved to See the Outcome of their Training. How would the Scene Look Like. Probably none was really made? Would be a cool gimmik for them, to have a final little Scene, as memory of their learning, wouldn't it?
Auxilio, estaba buscando tutoriales para el calculo de columnas para mi examen de mañana y me salen videos de Neil Newbon en todos lados, llevo desde el 4 de mayo sin jugar baldurs gate y creo que lo veo en todos lados... halp
I almost got old waiting for the DLC for the game Detroit. Why can't you make a DLC like "Police Stories" and tell the work of Hank and Connor, Gavin Reed and RK900 (and I don't care where it suddenly comes from). Tiny as an ant, DLC.
They don’t do DLCs it’s a one an done type of deal with this company. It’s a good and bad thing I think. Good because they always work on new IP and bring us new story’s. Bad because there story’s are so good you want more lol.
Gods this makes me want to try acting again. I loved stage acting in my teens, but even for community productions, its so competitive and due to disability my ability to memorize lines has been nerfed.
The voice of Neil Newbon is really soothing

0:12 Oh hey, that's from filming Meet Kamski, my favorite mission! They even got Chloe's actress a mat to kneel on, that's nice.

Insane work!!! Thank you for Detroit!!! 🔥❤️
I can't imagine the amount of imagination you should have to play a character on those conditions 😮

Gosh I would love to be part of that. Such a cool media to work in.
I've watched this a couple of times and just noticed, that's Frazier (Voice of Dammon in bg3) behind the camera, isn't it?
Would love to see the final scene! :)
A video starts with Neil Newbon. I hit like.
Now I wish that I didn´t drop my game design studies. This looks like such cool tech and fun to work with
